· Interventional Radiology nurse for the last 8 years providing pre and post care to
patients having biopsies, nephrostomy tube insertions/exchanges, abscess
drainages/tube placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, kidney ablations, chest
tube insertions and managing the care of our cardiac stress patients. Expertise in
placing ultrasound guided IV’s and PICC lines. I have been the charge nurse for 3
the last three years with administrative duties which include staffing, scheduling
and PI.
· Emergency department registered nurse for approximately 7 years with two
spent as the clinical resource manager. Duties included triage with assignment of
proper ESI level, care of patients in a level III trauma center from admission to
discharge in all age groups. Trauma, cardiac, stroke, abdominal, diabetic,
orthopedic, burns and minor emergency experience.
· Staff nurse Intensive Care Unit for five years. Provided individualized care in the
MICU at a small rural hospital. Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, pulmonary
artery catheters, titrating drips, mechanical ventilation, substance abuse, pre-
and post-surgical care.
