DC Terminal Description – 185KTL-H1 :
The 185KTL inverter provides 9 MPPTs with 18 inputs terminals which are controlled by three DC Switches:
1- The DC Switch 1 controls the MPPT1, MPPT2, MPPT3 ;
2- The DC Switch 2 controls the MPPT4, MPPT5, MPPT6 ;
3- The DC Switch 3 controls the MPPT7, MPPT8, MPPT9 ;
If the customer wants to connect less than 18 strings, he needs to install them under different switches in
balance, which means they should follow the MPPTs : 1, 4, 7 / 2, 5, 8 / 3, 6, 9.

DC Connectors – 185KTL-H1: MC4 EV02
The PV connector type used for the 185KTL is MC4
EV02. In case of loss or damage, the customer must
purchase the same model of connectors.
If the customer connects the Y-Branch to the inverters,
the connectors that are connected to the inverter side
should be MC4EV02.
If the customer uses an incompatible PV connector on
the inverter, the inverter will get damaged and in this
case, it will not be replaced under warranty.

Installing AC Cables SUN2000 185KTL-H1
The customer must respect the Torque of AC Cables and PE during the installation and check it during every
maintenance routine. If it looses its connection, this will burn the AC cables after a period of operation.

Common Causes of ISO Faults
• Damaged AC cables, or installation mistake low distance between
the phases and grounding.
• Damaged PV panels or DC wires, such as mounting screw through
the back of a module or a conducting wire pinched against a
mounting rail
• Poor connection between PV panels caused by poor quality or aging
of cable junction
• Water ingress or damp condensation in junction box due to not
properly sealed junction box or DC isolator enclosure, which will
lower the insulation resistance and cause an Insulation fault.

Power ON & Commissioning - SUN2000-185KTL-H1
Check before power-on. Turn on the AC and DC switches. Check the LED indicator status.
Precautions
Check before power-on: Confirm that the AC power distribution switch and the DC switch on the SUN2000 are turned off. Check that the DC terminals are
properly connected, the input DC cables are not reversely connected, sealing caps are installed on the DC input terminals that are not in use, AC OT
terminals are reliably fastened, the waterproof caps are installed on the USB port and RS485 port that are not in use, and the cabinet door is locked.
Turn on the AC and DC power distribution switches: Turn on the AC switch, and then DC switches. The SUN2000 will be started normally. (When the AC
switch is turned on, the SUN2000 local monitoring is powered on. When the DC switch is turned on, the SUN2000 internal control circuit and monitoring
circuit are powered on. If you turn on the DC switch before the AC switch, the SUN2000 enters the protection mode first because it detects that the power
grid is not powered on, and it starts after detecting the AC power supply. The startup process will take one minute.)
Check the LED indicator status: In normal cases, the PV indicator and grid connection indicator are on. If the communication cable is connected, the
communication indicator is on; otherwise, the communication indicator is off.
