Resolution

The barangay council and purok leaders of Barangay ______ held a joint session to pass Resolution No. 005 requesting PHP 100,000 in financial assistance from the Governor of Cagayan Province. The funds would support the construction of a barangay talipapa and other projects to benefit the community as part of the Governor's "No Barangay Left Behind" agenda. Due to limited local resources, the barangay council unanimously agreed to appeal to the Governor for support. The resolution calls for the funds to be used as intended and a copy to be forwarded to the Governor for appropriate action.

“RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING THE HON. GOVERNOR MANUEL N. MAMBA FOR FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (PhP 100,000.00) SOURCE OUT FROM
THE DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO LGU’s AND FUNDED UNDER CY-2021

Whereas, the Barangay Council and Purok Leaders has line-up one hard projects/programs such
Barangay Talipapa ________________ (Php ____) intended for the welfare of the community and to be
source out from the Development Assistance Program to LGU’s and funded under the CY 2018 Budget of
the Province;

Whereas, due to limited resources of the Barangay, these Barangay Talipapa cannot be realized;

Whereas, the barangay council and Purok leaders unanimously agreed to appeal to the Hon. Governor
Manuel N. Mamba for support and extend financial assistance to the Barangay in line with his “No
Barangay Left Behind Development Agenda”;

Whereas, the approval of this resolution is deemed necessary and urgent;

THEREFORE, on motion of kagawad ___________________ and duly seconded by Kagawad _________


in joint session assembled, be it

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the possible fund extended by the Provincial Government
of Cagayan through the Hon. Governor Manuel N. Mamba shall be used for the implementation of the
soft projects mentioned above;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Hon. Governor Manuel N. Mamba
for his appropriate action.
