MONTHLY ASSESSMENT - I (Observation, Empathy and Define Phase)
(DATE :___/___/___)
1. Why have students/teams taken the above mentioned domain? (Please specify the reason)
(Note: For more content or information, one may attach additional pages to this card.)
I have chosen Corruption in public works because the people have to go to the offices to
get their work done and fill the forms. If we create an online website where people can do
all of that then the corruption can be eradicated. The project aims to ensure payments and
complaints can be registered online on this website and payment has to be done online
too.
2. How frequently the student team has gone for observation on field, mention with date,
place, time etc.? Which are the key observations that they have noticed?
On June 7 , 2021 at 11:00 AM in Rajkot I observed a few things related to corruption in
public works and what are the issues and all.
B. Who are the users and various stakeholders in the domain? Describe their persona
(Name, age, occupation/education, roles and responsibility etc.)
(1) Mili Mandaviya – 22– Computer Engineer
(2) Avani Virani – 24 – Electrical Engineer
C. List out the questions asked by the team while having observation and interview?
(1) How is this website?
We use Analytical tools to help the user make a website easily to explain and And
also we IDEs for performing many activities like how to update profile, how to fill
form for this particular stuff.
5. Enlist any five major problems observed by your team in the respective domain. Mention
any one for which you have empathized with the most and which might become your
problem statement. Give reasons for selection of particular problems/issues based on
empathy.

listed problems.
After internal discussion we list out some problems or issues because the people have
to go to the offices to get their work done and fill the forms and users can register
themselves and forms can be accessed . A lot of form filings and payments and

Higher levels of market and political monopolization.
3. Explain the most effective possible solution proposed for the problem.
youth groups share their disapproval of corruption and are found at local and national
levels. Different groups have different goals, but they have one thing in common: a
willingness to talk openly about their opposition to corruption and raise awareness about its
adverse effects on society. These groups can be formed to take part in a one-off event,
around a single issue – stopping bribery for grades in school.

5. Enlist major advantages and disadvantages (at least three) of the proposed solution.
SAD STORY :Samir was trying to get his work done and form submitted for a long time. He
kept visiting the office many times but nothing worked. People were indirectly asking him
for bribes he couldn't afford. Even after all the efforts and so many visits he was
unsuccessful in getting his task completed. If he had access to something like the website
he wouldn't have struggled.
