Simple present tense
3rd person singular(HE/SHE IT) to form the simple present affirmative
1. To form the Present Simple we add –s to the majority of the verbs the 3rd
person singular
Example 1. ( like) He/she/it likes 2. (swim) he/she/it swims 3.(read)

4. (live) he/she/ it lives 5.(work) he/she/it works 6.(run) he/she/it
runs
2. when the verb ends in: a) –o, -ss, -sh, -ch, X . we add –es
