Question:
1. What are the 2 Components of Cambodia Educational Structure? Explain?
Answer:
Non-formal Education providing all children, youth, adult, disabled people with literacy
and access to life skills. Teacher training Education allows students that successfully
completed Grade 12 or Grade 9 to pursue teacher certificated at provincial teacher training
colleges (for primary school teachers) or regional teacher training centers (for lower secondary
school teachers).
Formal Education. - Traditional education in Cambodia was handled by the local Wat,
and the Bhikkhu were the teachers. The students were almost entirely young boys.
During the period of the French protectorate and educational system based on the French
model was introduced alongside the traditional system.
a. Primary Education
 Kindergarten (3-6)
 Six years in Primary School (7-12)
b. Secondary Education
 Lower Secondary Education (Grade 7 to 9)
 Upper Secondary Education (Grade 10 to 12)
This formulation does not include at least one year for Pre-school Education (Kindergarten)

Answer:
Education in its general sense is a form of learning. In which the knowledge, skill,
and habits of a group of people are transferred from one generation to the next
through teaching, training, or research.

Answer:
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning
opportunities for all. To improve the quality of primary school education by incorporating
interactive, child –friendly teaching strategies into the Teacher Training College Curriculum
and to Improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching practice by training teachers in
interactive teaching strategies with minimal resources:
1. Gaming the educational system
2. Classrooms promote peace
3. A million voices for education
4. New Opportunities for Young Graduates
