Starting with one point of view, there are many reasons why religion needs to be
talked about in the school building. One of the most significant factors is that comprehension
comes with experience It's important to remember that religious studies help people to instill
good morals. Honesty, faithfulness, hard work, respect, and dignity are factors of these
morals. These virtues are promoted in all religious studies, including Christianity, Islam, and
Hinduism. Religion also aids in the prevention of vices among today's youth. It's also worth
noting that students' spiritual uprightness is gained by instilling a fear of God in their souls.
Such anxiety aids in the acquisition of awareness and wisdom by learners. However, it is
clear that theological studies in schools are the perfect way to impart this information.
For a variety of causes, religion and evolution cannot be taught in a school. To begin
with, faith would not assist students in obtaining employment in the industrial and service
industries. Today's most common occupations are in the trades and manufacturing industries.
Accounting clerk, Facility Manager, various Engineering posts, Contract expert, and so on
are examples of these jobs. Furthermore, faith may not take into account each individual's
cultural diversity and values. The teaching of faith in schools can also bully and discriminate
non-religious groups that make up a minority. Moreover, some scientific teachings are
contradicted by religious studies.
I believe that religious studies should be taught in schools because the learner stands to
benefit more from them than they stand to lose. Religious studies contribute to the formation
and molding of global society. However, it is important to allow students the freedom to
choose whether they want to study religion or not.
