II.      RATIONALE
         As an offshoot of the Corona Virus Disease -2019 (CoViD-19) crisis, there is a
large disruption in the educational system not only in the Philippines but in the whole
world.
         The challenge now is the shift from face to face classes to remote learning (involves
online learning, modular learning, blended learning, radio/TV-based instruction).
         Notwithstanding, educators still have the primary goal to improve the academic
performance of students through quality education. As part of this endeavor, teachers
should be able to devise ways on how to further improve the current educational system.
One of which is by contextualizing and localizing learners’ materials to suit to needs of
students.
         Moreover, the increasing need for learning resources on various subject gives
teachers a sense of responsibility to devise materials to be used by students.
         It is in this context that the proponent would like to create “Project S.C.R.I.B.E.

learning)” which is an Instructional Materials Construction Project to suffice the needs of
Secondary Social Studies, specifically, Grade _10__.
III. PROJECT PURPOSE
       The project aims to:
       a. create learning materials in the form of Learning Activity Sheets in
           __________;
       b. target Most Essential Learning Competencies as part of Education in the new
           normal;
       c. get the interest of students through contextualized and localized learning
           materials; and
       d. enhance students’ academic performance.
IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
       This will be part of enhancing the teaching-learning process through Guided
Learning Activity Sheets in order to carry out the Most Essential Learning Competencies
(MELCs) of the 3rd Quarter in ______________________.
       The proponent will craft a series of Guided Learning Activity Sheets anchored on
the MELCs printed in a hard copy and can be accessed online via Google Drive. This will
be of great help in the instructional process delivered by teachers, especially in this
COVID-19 pandemic.

       The proposed project will need a P 1, 370.00. The fund will come from the personal
expense of the proponent.
VII. EXPECTED OUTPUTS AND EFFECTS AND ITS OUTCOMES
         The project is expected to produce, one (1) printed and compiled copy of the
Guided Learning Activity Sheets and one (1) flashdrive storing the set of GLAS anchored
on the MELCs for 3rd Quarter. This set of activity sheets can be used by the entire division
in order to further improve how they facilitate learning in the new normal.
