1. What are your major challenges encountered?

“As a student – Those are the times when my parents did not support me with what I want to
pursue and they want me to become a teacher. My heart and my mind wasn’t able to learn to
love the course so, I failed and decided to stop from attending school, but I tried to obey them
for almost two years.”

“As a wife/Christian: it happened last May, 22, 2016, when I was operated for having an ectopic
pregnancy my faith was tested as well as our relationship. I didn’t know that I was 7-8 weeks
pregnant already. I thought my period was just delayed for I am irregular. We hoped and prayed
for that child yet it wasn’t granted. Now, I have lesser chance of getting pregnant. For they cut
off my right fallopian tube. We already accepted what happened and just keeping the faith that
in God’s perfect time He will grant what our hearts desires.”

2. How did you cope with it?

“First, through prayer it’s alright and normal to feel weak. Faith being shaken a little, but hold
tighter, He has greater plans ahead of you. Second, my husband never abandon me in time that I
felt lost, scared and almost initiated retreat and accepted defeat. Lastly, family and friends, who
showed support and shared encouraging words to motivate me to keep on going and fight life’s
unending circumstances.

3. What are your plans in the future? 5 to 10 years from now.

“My plans for the future are mainly focused on my family. To my wife and especially, to my two
sons. I want to give them all the love I can give and the things that they need in order to prepare
them in life. As to being a husband, I just want to spend my life to the fullest with my wife. And
for my career as a teacher, I want to continue to grow and be more of an inspiration to my
students. And if God permits, maybe I can be promoted to Teacher III.”
