Steps for installation of MATLAB

• Visit the following url: https://in.mathworks.com/login

• Create a new account using your smail id (personal email accounts are not to be
used). Complete the necessary procedure like verifying the email account, filling
details, setting the password etc.

• Login to https://in.mathworks.com/login using your smail id and password.

• Select the Download option as shown below

• Select the MATLAB version preferably R2019b

• Select the OS preference and run the Installer that is downloaded

• During installation, you may need to login using your smail id for license activation

• Based on the RAM of your system, the installation time will vary (Suggestion: Do
not run any other programs during the installation if the system’s RAM is less than
or equal to 4GB)

• The system has to be connected to the internet throughout the installation process
(the file size is large during installation). After successful installation, internet
connection is not required to run MATLAB
