Maintenance & Operation Manual

Fertilizer Blending system

The Purpose of thir manual is to help the user operate the plant in a trouble – free manner.
The manual gives a few examples of manufacturing techniques of double ribbon mixes.
This is obviously the task of the job site supervisors whose instructions are to be obeyed by
the personnel who operate the plant
The illustrations of the plant are given for explanatory purposes.
a copy of this manual should be given to the plant users who must keep it in the operator’s
cab with the utmost care.
Always read and understand this manual, taking care to check what you have learnt on
the various machines, before starting, operating, servicing, feeding or attempting any other
procedures on the plant

B.5 Personal Safety devices


Personal safety devices required and be visual inspection of the plant
HARD HATS Use hard hats during maintenance to avoid injury provoked by tools falling or
other items.

Used protective gloves to avoid cuts, punctures or bruies

SAFETY FOOTWEAR Use safety work shoes to prevent injury from falling objects or crushing
during maintenance

CLOTHING Wear adequate clothing in order not to get caught in moving machine parts and to
avoid injury and corrosive chemical bad for health

Safety goggles must be worn when gate that provides access to tower, mixer and working station

stay alert at all times.
The dangerous situations described above normally arise while performing maintenance work if
the recommended safety procedures described herein are overlooked (Safe distances, inspection
procedures, etc.)

While using the plant


The workers will run the following risks if the national or local safety regulations in force as well
as the safety rules listed in this manual are not obeyed.

Risk of parts falling

Due to overhead loads (e.g. additives lifted by winches, etc Provoked by the opening of storage

Risk of being crushed


Due to rotating parts (Conveyor belts, joints, driers, etc) or moving parts (bucket, Shuttle)

Risk of shearing
Due to rotating parts (conveyor belts joints driers etc) or moving parts

Due to the presence of high-voltage electrical equipment (220-380V)
Rsults: from mimor injury to death

Safety Cautions before Operation

Before start the machine please check the power supply wire connection and each parts if
connect well when machine stop to check or maintenance please turn off power supply
D.3.2.3 Operation and Maintenance
1 Before load material, Bucket Elevator need to work 2 to 3 minutes in unload condition.
2. Feed uniformly, doesn’t exceed the rated capacity of Bucket Elevator, in case of
materials block
Under the bottom of Bucket Elevator
3.When bucket elevators need to stop, Firstly stop loading until all materials are
discharged, and then stop it
4.After working 100 hours from first time use or after a repair, please recheck the whole
bucket elevator, Screw down all the screw

When Bucket Elevator is operating, do not allow cleaning up and repair the moving parts

5. Keep each lubrication spot work well during bucket elevator operation, and chain drive
need to be add oil each shift, and bear need to add butter in each three days. The reducer’s
maintenance please sees operation requirements of reducer.
6. To regularly checks all parts of operation, Check whether each joint bolt fastening, such
as conveyor part are damaged shall timely be replaced.

7.To regularly cleaning up the bucket elevator, it will be easy to clean by rubber hammer
lightly hit the outside covers; there is no dead corner in the bottom of elevator by use are
plate

E Daily Maintenance
1 It is the responsibility of each worker to take good care of the machine. Good daily
maintenance will prolong the machines working life
2.It should worl half an hour in unload before whole machine beginning to work. Make the
weighing controller (Batching) warm – up.

3. Prohibit to hit the outside of main part of the machine and mechanical parts, otherwise,it
will not only direct damage equipment outside, but also easy to cause danger. So the
Manufacturer should teach the operator to study the operational manual and understand
the working process, in case damage equipment due to load material or other artificial
reason.
4. Except for factory designated personnel and manufacturer specified personnel, any
other personnel are not allowed to adjust the system parameters without authorization,
and forbidden to open the host cabinet
5 regularly check the terminals whether corrosion or loose phenomena, if have, should be
handled in time.
6 If found cakes materials and ropes at filling port, please kick them off.
7 the motors and chains of machine have to be lubricated in regularly.
8 Machines should be cleaned up after each shift off duty.
9 Regular maintenance should be done based on the using conditions and working
environment of the factory. If any problem exists during operators should

F – Lubrication oil inside the reducer when it ex-work (In case oil leakage during load and
unload or transportation, when the reducer put upside down)
Please correctly add lubrication oil as per the indicated oil no. on brand. Please notice that the
oil level is located at the middle of part, if the oil is too much, it is easy to break the oil seal and
make the reducer leakage.

2. After operation 100 hours, it should replace new oil, and Cleaning up internal oil pollution
(Open the oil plug sockets on the bottom of Motor base, and the oil pollution remained must be
emitted), when the machine continuously work every 3 months ( eight-hour per shift) please
replace new oil.
3. If the reducer havent’t work for a long time (normally more than 12 month) , before reusing it,
must replace the same model lubricating oil. please don’t add mixture of different lubrication

G-use and maintenance of Bear


Grease filling Quantity
Grease filling quantity of bear enclosure is commonly up to 1/3 -1/2 volume If filling too much,
please pay more attention on it, because tha grease will be fever by mixing action and easy to
deterioration, aging and softening.
Supplement and replacement of Grease
Must use cleaning grease and pay attention to prevent external things fall into it.
Better to use the same type lubricating grease when refilling
When refilling, to ensure the new grease goes inside the Bearing is particularly important

Bear Replacement

If any of the following problems exists, the bearing cannot be used and must be replaced by a
new One
Any cracks or gaps appears on the inner ring, outer ring, rolling element and retainer;
Any cracks on ferrule or rolling elements
Significant injuries on the rolling surface, sidewall and rolling elements
Singnificantly abrasion on retainer, or slack of the rivet
Rust or injuries on rolling surface or elements
Severe indentations and hit marks on the rolling surface and elements
Significant creeps inside the inner ring or outside the outer ring
Obvious color change due to heat
Bearing with sealed grease has significant damages on the seal ring or the dust shield

Instrument Maintenance
Regularly blows the dust inside the instrument by cooling blower, and cleaning up the outside by
wet mop.
Regularly checks the connection wire and connector clip whether work well.
It should be done well protective work, especially thunder and lightning often happened area,
check the grounding connection of instrument are good, if the condition possible, please take the
power of instrument off.
Machine Stop Maintenance
When machine Seasonal stop, please unload the weighing scale and make the cell in loose
condition, cleaning up the residual material in hoppers and packaging well in anit-moisture
materials and store in the day and aeration place.

Raw Material Hopper


It is suitable for batching 5 kinds of material each line, each set have 5 Hoppers.
Raw material : 304 stainless steel.
Noted: Inside wall of hopper to be painted the Teflon paintings. Improve the flow ability and
stop sticking on the wall, also have the anit-corrosion function Vibrating motor : 0.12Kw

Screw feeders
Raw material: 304 Stainless steel. the botton open the cleaning door for maintenance. Suitable
for difficult flow ability powder Feeding Frequency converter control the speed of feeding
Powder: 2.2 Kw * 10 = 22 Kw

Batching Scale (Formulation)


One weighing hopper, Weighing in Static situation, with high batching accuracy.
