WOODEN SLIDING FOLDING DOORS
● Wooden sliding folding doors are stackable folding doors of multiple panels that slide and stack
neatly to one or two sides.
● This allows for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor environment, areas free of any
barrier or obstruction.
● With multiple combinations, openings of 10-12m can be obtained.

COMPONENTS OF A SLIDING FOLDING DOOR SYSTEM:
1. Sliding Track : Normally the same length as door opening.
2. Brackets : Bracket interval generally 1m
Wall brackets or soffit brackets
3. Hangers and Fixing Plates : 2-wheeled or 4-wheeled hangers
4. Bottom Guide
5. Pivot Set – provides hinge like movement to first door
6. End clips – Prevent tracks lateral movement
7. Hinges
8. Handles – opening and closing of door

ADVANTAGES:
1. They give you a 100% opening.
2. Single door provides easy access without having to open the whole door.
DISADVANTAGES:
1. If not operated properly the hardware can get damaged making the door very difficult to use.
2. There will always be some sort of track on the floor and in the case of the weatherproof door, this
track cannot be submerged into the ground unless there is a step between inside and outside.

1. Start panel connected with top,middle and bottom bearing hinge for wall.
2. Intermediate folding panel connected with top, bottom and centre hinge with handle
3. Intermediate folding panel connected with top roller and bottom guide roller,centre
hinges
4. End panel connected with top and bottom guide roller.
TRACK DIMENSIONS :
● Top track :
Generally finished in aluminium with a size of 50mm*50mm in cross section
● Bottom track:
Aluminium/PVC - Dimensions- 25mm*26.5mm
INSTALLATION PROCESS :
1) Install the track – Top and Bottom or one of them as required
2) Mount the hinges
3) Attach the track hardware
4) Position the floor bracket
5) Attach the floor bracket
6) Hang the door
7) Attach the door aligners
8) Install the door pulls
