PROCEDURE MEETING LEARNERS
INTRODUCTION
Some examples under the three components.
MOTAVITION
Draw their idea on the board how the 3 components interact each other.
INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY
A. Focus Lesson: Teacher Discussion
1. Introduce the topic by processing and synthesizing the different key points about the
topic. Mention on the following points:
Hardware – refers to the physical and tangible parts of the computer system.
Software – general term for well – ordered collections of computer instructions
and data.
Peopleware – pertains to anything that has to do with the role of people in the
development or application of computer.
B. Proper Discussion about the Topic.
Hardware – refers to the physical and tangible parts of the computer system.
1. Input Devices – components of hardware that are used to send data and manage
signals from te computer such as :
A. Keyboard
B. Mouse
C. Headset
D. Scanner
E. Cameras
2. Output devices – used to receive the output of processed data. Could also be a
displayed on the screen, printed documents or song played.
A. Monitor
B. Projector
C. Speaker
D. Printer
E. Multimedia outputs
3. System Unit – main Components of the computer are housed inside the system
unit. This term is used to differentiate between the computers itself and the
peripheral device.
Software – general term for well – ordered collections of computer instructions
and data.
1. System Software – integrates and manages each single hardware
components of a computer system.
2. Application Software – used to accomplish specific tasks. Such as Word
Processing, Database, Spreadsheet, Web Browser, etc.

development or application of computer.
1. Computer Engineers
2. Software Engineers
3. Information Technology Specialists
4. Website Designer
5. Computer Technicians
PRACTICE/ENRICHMENT
A. Hands – on Activity.
Each ground must have 3 members and 1 system unit for hands – on activity and
Motherboard upon the availability of the computer lab.
EVALUATION
