DPM-ST® Our Design and Features
• The DPM-ST® connections were designed based on the correlation between
the cross sectional area of both pin and box with torsional strength as well as
the evolution of the DPM-DS and DPM-MT® connections.
• The tool joint material features a unique chemistry with optimised heat
treatment which is field proven for several years on DPM-DS and DPM-MT®
connections.
• Improved stabbing due to the tapered pin nose.
• Geometry enhanced at critical areas for increased strength
DPM-ST® Independent Validation
DPM-ST®39, DPM-ST®54, DPM-ST®57 and their equivalent were
subjected to interconnectability tests by Stress Engineering Services,
Inc. with exceptionally good results achieved.
The test includes dimensional, torsional as well as torque to yield.
