Chapter 1

The document discusses the problems with toxic ingredients commonly found in commercial floor wax cleaners such as formaldehyde, cresol, and xylene. Formaldehyde has been linked to cancer and respiratory issues. Cresol and xylene can both cause neurological and liver/kidney damage. Homemade floor wax using coconut paraffin is presented as a safer alternative without these toxic chemicals. The study focuses on the benefits of coconut paraffin wax which is completely non-toxic.
