Polycon Gulf sets the standard for roto-molding with an innovative range of products
and services such as Water Storage Tanks, Road Barriers, Portable Restrooms, Spill
Containment Pallets, Dual-face Pallets, Illuminated Planters and Polymer Lining on
interior surface of carbon steel pipes and tanks.

Polycon products are manufactured using medium-density polyethylene – an

environmentally compatible hydrocarbon. Polyethylene is a high grade thermoplastic

Polycon Water Tanks are molded from UV stabilized and FDA approved
food grade polyethylene material which guards against bacteria,
fungus and algae. The Tanks are approved by UAE Municipalities
and have high environmental stress resistance, can withstand high-
pressure impacts and poor temperature conditions while protecting
the water from ultra-violet radiations, rust and leakage.

Procedure:
1. You will receive the Polycon water tank with loose
PP fittings and holes drilled as per your requirements.
2. Place the tank on a smooth, properly leveled platform.
3. First remove the chuck nut and one rubber washer from
fitting, apply the thread sealant, Teflon tape on threaded Vertical Tank
parts and insert the fitting into the hole by turning it
clockwise. After inserting it properly, fix removed one
rubber gasket from inside the tank and tighten chuck nut.
4. Hold the fittings with pipe wrench or suitable spanner and
fix a ball valve, flexible pipe and connect to the pipeline.
5. Provide properly leveled support under outlet pipe or
manifold pipe and fix the clamp on it to avoid stress on the
tank. ①
6. Fix the Air vent on top of the tank especially of bigger
sizes, to release the pressure from tank.

Flexible pipe connection allows for tank expansion/contraction

Flexible Pipe Fittings
and reduces pump/piping vibration stress on the tank thereby
increasing the life of tank. Flexible pipe connections are a must for ②
tanks bigger than 1,250 USG in Horizontal Tanks or 2,000 USG in
Vertical Tanks to preserve warranty. ③
