Recommended Precautions

*Ensure the ground and Approach access is levelled and compacted properly
*Check & Ensuring that the
working are always remain in clear & tidy Condition
*Consideration of overhead / underline utilities.
* Site safety induction training shall be mandetory for all & Gate pass will be
ensured.
*Daily Tool Box talk prior to start the work.
*Provide PPE's (safety helmet, reflected jacket, safety shoes and safety goggles)
at site.

Unauthorised person not allow to enter at site without identification or visitor gate
pass.

*Adequate illumination in work area and passage area.

*Ensure Job supervision and coordination in between team & driver, provide

*Inspection of trailer physically as per approved checklist, valid documents - RTO
registration, taxation, Insurance, PUC, fitness should be ensured.
*Authorised driver with valid driving license.
*First aid & emergancy prepairedness and facilitate.
*Ensure material in trailer is stacked / secured properly, don't allow movement of
trailer with unsecured material.
*Before work start daily tool box talk to be conduted for workers.
*Ensure the ground and access is levelled and compacted properly
* Crane / lifting tools & tackles
inspection through cheklist prior to start work
*Ensure certified crane and lifting tools & tackles. (TPI)
*Authorised rigger should be guiding to Farana / Crane,
*Selection of Farana / Crane as per load and configuration of material to be
ensured .
*Ensure Farana / crane is validated and shall be provided with SLI, overloaded
alarm. Swinging alarm, limit switches (all safety devices).
*Farana operator must have crane / HMV / SDP
license with good work experience.
*Load chart must be available with the Farana. As per load chart capacity lifting
shall be done.
*Farana planning and risk assessments checklist should be completed before
work.
*Valid Third part insection cerificates available with crane.
*Tested/Certified lifting tools and tackles shall be used and must have valid colour
coding and register to be maintained.
*Ensure uniform ground level & sufficient compaction of soil.
*Only trained / competent & trade validated riggers to engaged for rigging work.
*Liftiing plan should be prepared & Approved before unloading.
*Usages of crane ,tools & tackles as per approved plan.
*Tool box talk prior to start the work on daily basisi.
*All lifting tools and tackles inspected by Third
party and identification marking on slings.(Sr no,SWL)
*Test certificate to be available during lifting operation.
*Always use proper sling and check for working condition before lifting operation.
*Only trained and competent
workers shall be deployed for Erection work
*Colour coding system for all lifting accessories.
*Packing shall be provided to avoid damages of slings.
*Daily Inspection and maintainence.
*Damaged sling shall be descared on the spot only and return to store.
* Deploy trained / authorised riggers for slingiging activities
* Strictly follow approved lift plan.
*Tool box talk prior to start work on daily basis
*Crane / lifting tools / tackles Certification (Form.11)
*Crane Inspcetion & maintance
*Follow safe working load chart & approved lift plan.
*Ensure correct co-ordination between the cranes while lifting.
*Lifting tools / tackles and lifting arrangement / rigging should be ensured by
responsible person before starting lift.
*Ensure the trail lift to see the condition of the sling and center of gravity of load.
*Ensure after final lift the trailer
released slowly.
*Restrict unauthorised entry, Barricade the boom swing area properly & provide
safety signages at work place.
*Ensure no man / machinary movement under suspended load.
*Ensure use of guide ropes (At both ends) to restrict the movement of suspended
load.
* Signaling by authorised signalman only.
*Work under competent supervision.

*Ensure the Job leader only giving the signals to the operators and driver
*Prevent unauthorized entry with the
help of signalman
*Ensure the load is slowly lowered and unload on the packing material.
*Material should be stacked properly, use wooden slippers.
*Ensure the area is barricated
