RATIONALE: In line with the Department’s thrust in providing quality and
inclusive basic education for all, the Department of Education (DepEd)
continues to provide the necessary educational interventions for learners
with certain exceptionalities through its Special Education (SPED) program.

All children with special needs should have the opportunity to learn and be
developed in the most enhancing environment. It is our duty to provide
them free, appropriate, and quality education that best meets their needs.
guarantees the right for these children to receive appropriate
education within the regular or inclusive classroom setting. Inclusive
education embraces the philosophy of accepting all children
regardless of race, size, shape, color, ability or disability with support
from school staff, students, parents and the community.

The Department of Education continuously develop pupils


through empowering stakeholders to transform learning and create
proactive learners through lifelong learning process. Indeed the both
partner school set training program that will enhance the professional
skills of the educators.

The implementation of the Governance of Basic Education Act


of 2001 provided the mandate for decentralizing the system of school

management and recognized the role of other stakeholders in
education service delivery.

Primarily, the seminar will provide the participants in the


delivery of teaching and learning in school. This will support teachers
in organizing and managing their School Based Management reports
and ensure the school improvement plan.

OBJECTIVES: 1. empower teachers to accommodate learners with special


needs
2. gain additional knowledge on managing the classroom
effectively by using other strategies or techniques
3. Acquire clearer understanding on School-Based Management,its
Principles and Success Indicators

TRAINING This training will use different approaches: andragogical, 4A’s and
METHODOLOGY: lecturette.

1. Gained knowledge, skills, approaches, and attitudes needed to be


able to teach in inclusive setting
2. Increased understanding and knowledge on some techniques and
strategies to use for effective classroom management

 Conducts assigned sessions using session guides, slide


decks and other training materials
 Responsible for participants’ learning
 Ensure provision of training materials
Learning Facilitators /  When necessary, develops, reviews, contextualize training
Resource Person package and debriefing sessions
 Checks the readiness of the training venues
 Inform class managers of the materials and activities for
the session
 Manage time properly
 Ensure attendance of participants in the assigned class
 Assist the facilitator/trainer during the session including
Class Manager the distribution of materials
 Ensure that the time indicated in the matrix is strictly
monitored. Serves as time keeper.

 Serves as the class adviser and monitors the whereabouts
of the participants
 Prepare the completion report
 Coordinates with other Cms and Training Management

 Prepare QATAME Plan and submit to the program focal

evaluation tool, gathering and analyzing data and reports
