II. Program Background and Rationale
The present pandemic still poses challenges to various sectors especially to
educational system. With the physical distancing, basic education is among the
sectors heavily affected. As part of the mechanisms of the readiness of teachers
and students alike, this LAC Training is designed to ensure that sufficient
leadership and necessary projects and measures can be done and applied in
teaching and learning. Thus, this calls for the Department of Education to be more
innovative, and resourceful in delivering quality, accessible, relevant, and
liberating education. DepEd ensures that learning opportunities and development
are provided to our learners through teachers in a safe manner. It is not enough
for learners to have mastery of concepts and subject matter. They also need to
have the skills in communication and leadership as well as in crafting actions
researches to find solutions for the problems encountered by the school in this
very challenging set up. The guts of teachers to create and implement projects
could be helpful and useful for the school.

III. Program Description
Unlike the traditional face – to – face training, this learning activity is going
to be done through the web or any interactive tool. The methods of discussion will
be asynchronous using recorded discussions, video conferencing, and sharing of
slide decks via MS applications.
With this kind of activity, the participants will be able to review and renew
leadership skills and action research writing relevant to problems encountered
with learners and the school in this situation of pandemic.

The first part of this activity will be the short opening program at 8:30 am –
9:00 am. The Session proper will start at 9:00 am up to 3:00 pm. There will be an
open forum/ workshop so as to answer teachers queries and apply learnings on
matters relevant to the topics presented.
IV. Target Learners’ Description
The target learners for this LAC Session are the teachers from Taysan
Senior High School who perform various tasks in leading learners to effective
teaching and learning process.

The following results are expected from this training:
Impact:
Upskilled participants who can successfully adapt themselves with
effective leadership in the new normal scenario and being able to
freely craft research projects beneficial to learners and stakeholders.

VI. Program Learning Objectives
Terminal Objective:
Submit action research proposal SY 2021 – 2022 through incorporating
problems encountered in the delivery of learning this time of pandemic.
Enabling Objectives:
1. Prepare teachers on numerous tasks while battling the challenges
encountered in this normal new normal.
2. Orient personnel on:
incorporating flexible leadership, teaching strategies,
making project proposals,
and adapting oneself in this time of crisis.
3. Use gained knowledge in the preparation of leadership training reports and
action research proposals
VI. Workplace Application Project or Job-Embedded Learning
With the competencies gained from this training, upskilled participants will
be able to submit leadership and class activities, and action research proposals.

VIII. Monitoring and Evaluation Plan
Participants level of understanding will be gauged thru simulation activity
on accomplishing the given tasks by the resource speakers.
Monitoring of the accomplished reports will be monitored by the principal,
and Master Teacher.
