COURSE TITLE PHYSICAL FITNESS
COURSE CREDIT 2 units
PREREQUISITE COURSE None
COURSE DESCRIPTION This course aims to appraise the individuals’ physical strength and weakness. Physical fitness is offered to all first
year students. This two unit course includes self-testing activities; series of exercises which will improve their
posture, muscle tone, physical efficiency and the activities also provide training to achieve the value of health
fitness and wellness to attain a quality and productive life in the future.
COURSE OUTCOMES At the end of the semester the students will be able to:
1. To recognize the importance of learning the various exercises program for the development of our
health.
2. To develop awareness and the need for physical fitness for daily living and to have fun and satisfaction
in the various activities performed in the class.
3. To generate the ability of creativity of each individual through movement skills and provide activities
that will challenge the students.
