Introduction
An enormous interest to utilize renewable sources of energy such as solar energy has been
increased in the recent years due to the massive consumption and exhaustion of fossil fuel.
Abstract
The sun radiation has very important effect on the performance of photovoltaic (PV) solar
modules due to its variation from time to time. In this paper we perform an experiment by using
pv-model exposed to led varying its intensity by changing the supply voltage through voltage
converter besides connecting the pv model as shown in fig.(1)
Figure 1: PV circuit
The i-v and p-v curves are plotted automatically via software-controlling program (matlab)
Different parameters are obtained from the curves like: voc, isc, pmax.
The results can be used for identifying the relation between solar irradiance and the parameter of
PV circuit.
I-v and p-v characteristic curves with variable irradiance
During the real calculation of PV model power under the radiation effect, it is very important to
know at which solar power irradiance the calculation are done
So we make our experiment in two different case of solar radiation.

Conclusion
When the radiation increase the voltage is slightly changed. While the current is changed clearly.
At small resistance the current is slightly changed, while the volt changed clearly.
At large resistance the current is changed clearly, while the voltage slightly changed.
