Table Skirting and Napkin Folding
According to the reporters, table skirting is used to decorates different occasions

for elegance and to cover the actual table. This art helps the people to be more creative.

It also boosts up the decoration of the occasion. The reporters said that table skirting is

existed before 20th century.

They tackled about the different kinds of Table skirting. First is the Gathered or

Shirred. This kind of skirting is popular choice due to plainness and cheap. I noticed that

the table cloth was crumpled alongside of the table. Next is the, Knife Pleat. Knife pleat

is the common kinds of table skirting. Unlike the first kind of table skirting, knife pleat is

more organized to perceive. You can see a precise line down the length of the skirt and

the pleats has one direction only. Then we also have the Box pleat. This kind of table

skirting is made from a sequence of back to back knife pleat. It is suitable for formal

occasion. It gives the table a neat appearance. The fourth kind is the French Box Pleat,

it provides more volume than the standard box pleats. Fifth, is the Plastic table skirting.

This kind of table skirting is commonly used in outdoor parties and kiddie parties, since it

is disposable. Lastly is the fringe, it is a table skirting that is playful addition to party tables.

The reporters also enumerate the materials needed in table skirting. The materials

are, table cloth, table skirt. Thumb tacks and pins.

To begin table skirting, first is decide on what design you will be doing. Then

prepare the materials to be needed. After that lay the top cloth and fastened it with thumb

tacks. Locate the center of the table skirt, and fastened it with pin in the center of the table
using pin.Then apply various design.. all the sides of the table should be equally skirted

and covered.

Napkin Folding was also included in their report. Napkin folding is a type of

decorative folding with table napkin. It enhance the look of the table and the dining

experiences.
