Gina Alexandra meets her friend Erika at the airport as they are both waiting for family members returning from trips. Gina is waiting for her coworker Lina but does not know where Lina traveled. (Script / Dialogue)
In this file, you have to create the script or dialogue for your “experience
traveling abroad”.

 To write the script / dialogue: in parentheses write the location of the three
students who are talking: Example, (in a café), (In Paula’s house), (In a
restaurant), (in the airport).
 The dialogue must contain 250 words at least 1 ½ pages.
 Use past simple and present perfect simple in most of the dialogue.
Highlight these structures in your dialogue.
 Do not add pictures.

Martha traveled to the USA. She arrived to Colombia one week ago. Lucy and
Paula invited Martha for a cup of coffee at a cafeteria. They are talking about
Martha’s trip experience.

(In a cafeteria)

Martha: My dear friends. It has been a long time.


Lucy: Hi Martha, we can’t believe you are here.
Paula: Yes, we missed you a lot.
Martha: Well, I’m in Colombia again.
Lucy: So, where have you been all this time?
Martha: I went to the USA. I’ve been in different cities there.
Paula: Really! And what did you do there?
Martha: I visited some relatives in Chicago.

At the airport I met my friend Erika, because her sister arrives on a trip and I am waiting for
Lina my workmate she was on vacation too, but she didn’t tell me where she was. I
suppose that it's a surprise!

Gina Alexandra: ¡Erika friend! how are you? What are you doing at the airport?

Erika: Hello Gina Alexandra, how’s everything? I’m great! I'm waiting for my sister she
arrives of a trip

Gina Alexandra: I’m fine my friend, I also came to pick up a friend of my work, but I do not
know where she went and she did not want to tell me

Erika: Give me a moment, Oh, I saw my sister

Gina Alexandra: Go with your sister, I’ll be waiting for you and then we go to search for
my friend, what do you think?

Erika: Sure

Gina: Hey Lina

Lina: what's up Gina? how is everything?

Gina: everything is OK. But are you OK? you look tired, girl!

Lina: yeah, I know it, it is because I traveled.

Gina: Really, Where did you travel?

Lina: I was in US, it was nice!

Gina: what a great trip! How long did you stay there?

Lina: I was there for a month, it wasn't too much but I enjoyed it.

Gina: which places did you visit?


Lina: Well, I visited Central Park in New York, Lincoln's statute in Washington, San francisco as
well... places are very different there, it is said that US has nothing of these third world countries
and it is completely right.

Gina: I know it, there's another context over that place. But tell me, what activities did you do
there?

Lina: well, I walked with my mom in central park, I saw everything in Lincoln's statute and I met
many latin people in San Francisco.

Gina: and did you have a great time there?

Lina: it was the best I have had., Gina Alexandra my friend came for me… See you later

Gina Alexandra: Lina, How was you’r trip? Tell me all! Come on with my friend Erika…
