Analysis 2

Erosion breaks rocks down into sediments through weathering processes, which are then transported by water, ice or wind and deposited elsewhere when the carrying agent slows down. For example, hitting a rock with a hammer to represent erosion will cause small rock pieces to fall into a model river, be carried by the flowing water, and deposited where the river flow stops.

Erosion always leads to deposition by the
weathering because it breaks the rocks then the
sediments fall into the river and the river then drops
the sediments which is called deposition
.In the text it
says “ It occurs when pieces of rock or soil settle out
of flowing water, ice,or winds they slow
down.”(C-25-1p)
What I’m trying to say is that when the
wind, water or ice gets into the rock it breaks apart
little by little and then the pieces of sediments of
the rock fall down towards the ground or a river then
the river carries the sediments and then deposits the
sediments down the river.EXAMPLE:Imagine you created a
little landform of a river and the water is flowing and
then you get a rock and hit it with a hammer and then
you see that the small pieces of the rock falls down
the little river and then you see where the river stops
the river drops the sediments which it is deposited.
