SR13204 PDF

This document provides an overview of Indian Standard IS 13204:1991, which specifies requirements and test methods for rigid phenolic foam used for thermal insulation. The standard applies to slab and profiled sections cut from pipes, suitable for temperatures between -180°C and +130°C. It references several other Indian Standards that provide necessary details on testing thermal insulation materials, including apparent density, water vapor transmission rate, cell structure, water absorption, compressive strength, and fire resistance.
