Functional Safe Economical Satisfaction
Architects spend a great deal of time
explaining their ideas to clients,
construction contractors, and others.
The architect and client discuss the following:
1.Objectives
2.Requirements
3.Budget of a project
After discussing and
agreeing on the initial
proposal, architects
develop final
construction plans that
show the building's
appearance and details
for its construction.
Architect
needs to
draw a
plan of
the
building.
3-D DRAWINGS
The building is then built by a construction
company which follows the directions of the
plans for the building.
Casa Calvet
Casa Calvet stands out from Gaudi’s works.
But it doesn’t stand out with a unique, original
or/and innovative design. Instead, it stands
out for being kind of conventional and
according to some, conservative for Gaudi’s
standards. The building which was designed
as part residential and part commercial
property does feature distinctive “Gaudi’s
touch” but it blends in with other buildings in
the district rather than standing out from the
“crowd”. Casa Calvet was built for the
industrialist Pere Calvet between 1898 and
1900.
Works of Antoni Gaudi Church of Colonia
Güell
The Church of Colonia Güell is
actually a crypt that was built
according to Antonio Gaudi’s
design between 1908 and
1914. The original plan for the
church that was intended for
the workers in Santa Coloma
de Cervello was abandoned
because its commissioner,
Eusebi Güell, ran out of
money before the Catalan
architect was able to complete
it. Nevertheless, in 2005
UNESCO recognized the crypt
as a World Heritage Site.
Works of Zaha Hadid
Works of Zaha Hadid Galaxy Soho
Possibly the most space-age-
looking of all Hadid’s works,
this spooling creation
comprises four domed
structures linked by a
ravishing mixture of bridges
and platforms flowing around
what can only be called a
central canyon. Like a
smoothed off mille-feuille, the
18-storey retail, office and
entertainment colossus boasts
interior courts intended to
reflect traditional Chinese
architecture – although it has
been criticised by local
heritage groups for flattening
an area of historic hutongs.
Works of Zaha Hadid Guangzhou
opera house
“Like pebbles in a stream
smoothed by erosion,” was
how Hadid herself described
this £130m building, which
was designed to blend in
perfectly with its riverside
setting. Regarded as one of
the most alluring opera
houses ever built, it boasted a
folded, flowing glass structure
that let light flood in.

Dancing House
The Prague offices of the Dutch insurance
company Nationale-Nederlanden is also
known as Fred and Ginger, thanks to its
signature pair of towers, which seem to
resemble a couple dancing. The 1996
building, comprising a cinched volume of
metal mesh and glass and a concrete
cylinder, was a collaboration between
Gehry and local architect Vlado Miluníc

Fallingwater
The natural beauty surrounding
Fallingwater is intimately
connected to the understanding
and appreciation of the house
itself. The genius of Frank
Lloyd Wright to physically and
spiritually embrace the natural
world is captured in the daring
and innovative architecture set
among the forest landscape of
Bear Run.

the Guggenheim
Museum in New York
Frank Lloyd Wright’s most
important contribution to
architecture as well as to the arts
and society is arguably The
Guggenheim Museum in New
York City. In this building a history
of people, of time, of art and of
architecture are all united.
Works of Frank Lloyd Wright Ennis House
Built for Charles and Mabel
Ennis in 1924, the Ennis
House is the last of four
Wright’s textile block houses.
The house reveals a strong
influence of the ancient
Mayan architecture and is
often cited as one of the
finest examples of the Mayan
Revival style that was
popular in the 1920s and
1930s. Since 2011.

ALTAVISTA DE
BORACAY
Altavista De Boracay is a resort that stands on an area with lush
greenery and panoramic views of the sea. Its tropical Filipino
architecture draws inspiration from the ancient balanghais of
Mindanao, where the structures have undulating roofs to create a
unique multi-angular façade. The resort also has a spa and
wellness center, a man-made lake, a garden, and an open space for
activities such as horseback riding.

CAMP NETANYA
Camp Netanya is an exclusive dive resort featuring a Greek-
Mediterranean inspired building shell, light colored walls, an infinity pool
and an unobstructed visual connection to Balayan Bay. It is situated on a
steep one-hectare lot which has a 30-meter change in elevation from the
road to the seafront and so offers incomparable design possibilities. The
stepped development sprawls towards the shore – a fresh concept in
resort-making and an original architectural landmark.

MANILA SOUTHWOODS
FISHERMALL
The Fishermall is a mixed-use activity center located on a former bus
terminal. With the aim to be certified as the first “green mall” in
Quezon City, the design strictly follows the City Government’s Green
Building Ordinance. Open decks and balconies from the upper
ground floor to the third floor establish vertical connection. LED lights
will be used to illuminate the façade, contributing to the attractiveness
of the structure.

Rizal Park
Rizal Park, also known as Luneta
Park or simply Luneta, is a
historical urban park in the
Philippines. Located along Roxas
Boulevard, Manila, adjacent to the
old walled city of Intramuros, it is
one of the largest urban parks in
Asia. The execution of national
hero José Rizal on December 30,
1896 fanned the flames of the
1896 Philippine Revolution
against the Kingdom of Spain.
The area was officially renamed
Rizal Park in his honor, and the
monument enshrining his remains
serves as the park's symbolic
focal point.

Nature Church
The Nature Church, also known as the Mary Immaculate Parish, is a
parish church located in Apollo III, Moonwalk Village, Talon V in Las
Piñas, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is known for its "nature theme"
representing the ideas of Fr. Pierino Rogliardi and the architectural
advocacy of Francisco Mañosa. When it was built in 1986, it was only
capable of accommodating 100 people. Beside the main church is the
San Lorenzo de Manila Chapel, which is a smaller version of the main
church, suited for more intimate church gatherings.

EDSA Shrine
The Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, Our Lady of EDSA, or more
popularly, the EDSA Shrine is a small church of the Roman
Catholic Archdiocese of Manila located at the intersection of
Ortigas Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in
Barangay Ugong Norte, Quezon City. The church is also called the
Archdiocesan Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace or Mary, Queen of
Peace Quasi-Parish, although these names are seldom used. Built
in 1989 on donated land to commemorate the People Power
Revolution, the shrine is the site of two peaceful demonstrations
that toppled Presidents Ferdinand Marcos in 1986, and Joseph
Estrada.

Coconut Palace
The Coconut Palace is made of several types of Philippine
hardwood, coconut shells, and a specially engineered coconut
lumber apparently known as Imelda Madera. Each of the suites on
the second floor is named after a specific region of the Philippines
and displays some of the handicrafts these regions produce. The
palace is located on F. Ma. Guerrero Street at the Cultural Center
of the Philippines Complex between the Folk Arts Theatre and the
Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel. Before becoming the official
residence of the Vice President, the palace was used for wedding
receptions.
