PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE: Este tiempo se utiliza para hablar de situaciones o
acciones del pasado que tienen alguna conexión con el presente. Suele aparecer
con expresiones como already, just, yet, ever, for, since how long, in recent
times, lately, never, over the last two years, recently, so far, up to now, etc.

Nunca he estado en Inglaterra.


I have never been to England.

PRESENT PERFECT CONTINUOUS: Se utiliza para hablar de acciones que comenzaron en el


pasado y continúan en el presente, así como para hablar de cómo hemos pasado nuestro tiempo
últimamente. Aparece con expresiones como for, how long, lately, recently, since, up to now, etc.

He estado organizando un viaje últimamente.


I have been planning a trip lately.

PAST PERFECT SIMPLE AND CONTINUOUS: El pasado perfecto se usa para hablar de una acción
en pasado con respecto a otra acción en pasado, mientras que el pasado perfecto continuo se usa
para hablar de cuánto una acción estuvo en progreso. Estos tiempos suelen ir acompañados de
expresiones como already, before that, by then, for some time, previously, prior to that time, until
then, up to then, etc.

Yo había ido al supermercado para ese entonces.


I had gone to the supermarket by then.
