Location
The Ferndale condominiums are
located in Azuga, in the heart of the
Prahova Valley;
Less than 2 hours from Bucharest
and 20 minutes from Brasov.
The new Bucharest-Brasov highway
has been designated to run down
through the Prahova Valley reducing
the travelling time to Azuga to appr.
1.15 minutes. Works will commence
in 2005 and are due to be completed
in 2010.
As Azuga is the only town set off the
highway, it has all its benefits but
will not be affected by the disadvan-
tages that the other towns in the
Prahova valley will have, such as
noise and smoke polution and a dis-
torted view, making it one of the
most desirable spots in the Prahova
valley

Ski area development
The Condo’s are placed right in the
heart of the ski-area: 5 minutes
from the slopes of Azuga,
10 minutes from Predeal and
Busteni, 15 minutes from Sinaia and
25 minutes from Poiana Brasov.
Azuga has 3 runs at the moment,
featuring the longest run in the
Prahova Valley and is planning
to develop this ski-area further
under EU sponsored plans,
eventually linking up the ski areas
of Predeal and Azuga. The ski slopes
are lit at night, which enables skiers
to enjoy the slopes day and night.
The chairlift runs all year round,
with makes it an ideal location for
hiking or mountain biking or just
going for a picnic.
