Prior to completing the Kahoot! quiz, the students will be given the content information regarding the three branches of government. This will be executed through lecture and notes, and worksheets. The students will be assigned and given time to complete the quiz in their free time within the classroom, otherwise it shall be completed as homework.

Briefly describe what will happen DURING the SRT activity: After given the information regarding the three branches, the students will be assigned the quiz to be done, which can be done either in their free time during class, otherwise for homework. Afterwards, the students will need to record their score. The score must be at least 80%, if not, it must be re-taken.

Describe what will happen AFTER the SRT activity?
After the quiz is done individually, the teacher will review the class results together. The teacher will then assign the quiz during class as a whole to see who has completed the assignment, and also who has truly learned from it rather than just completing it for a grade.
How will the data be used? The use of the data will be flexible, as it will benefit the teacher, the students individually, and also as a whole. The teacher will benefit because she will gather a collective sample of how well the class understands the material, and also if there are any misunderstandings. For the students individually, they will benefit from immediate correct responses so that they can correct their answers in needed. Students will be able to see their own progress and understanding of the material. Also the score/completion will be put as a grade. Finally, the students as a whole will be able to see how they match up with the other students in the class. This will serve as a positive use of peer pressure.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. With this activity I hope that students: 1) learn how to self-assess and thus gain some study/self-reflection tools. 2) Students get necessary practice and drill. 3) Students will be given the opportunity to collaborate and share their ideas and knowledge with others 4) The teacher will be able to collectively see the students individual and collective progress without the permanence of using a test.
