BOSTON LIKELY VOTER POLL

This poll was conducted by live interviewers calling likely voters in Boston. A total of 456
interviews were conducted between October 14-17, 2017. Respondents were interviewed on
landlines (247) and cellphones (209). Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling
error of 4.6 percentage points.

Telephone numbers were randomly selected from a citywide voter file, with area-based quotas
set to ensure sampling was proportionally representative to the number of voters in all city
neighborhoods. Respondents were screened to identify those likely to vote in the November
municipal election.

The poll was sponsored by WGBH and managed by Anderson Robbins Research. Fieldwork was
conducted by Braun Research, Inc. of Princeton, NJ.

Dashes (-) are used to represent values of zero, while an asterisk (*) represents values less than
one-half percent. Some percentages may not add to 100% due to rounding. Similarly, totals may
be one point more or less than the sum of their component parts due to rounding.
