1. The Windsor Institute of Management Studies is established with the primary
objective of providing world-class management education in tune with the
contemporary requirements of our society.

2. The Windsor Institute of Management Studies is a new generation Business School


aiming to produce multi-talented executives, fully capable of facing the new
challenges posed by the rapidly changing situations in the management circle.

3. At WIMS, students are groomed not just as managers but as leaders using a holistic
approach. This is achieved through implementation of activities relating to academics,
teamwork, leadership, entrepreneurship, communication, analysis, and personality
development.

4. The world at present is highly volatile and turbulent in the aftermath of recession.
Management education is all about learning to effectively utilize the scarce resources.
WIMS is therefore dedicated to train students to effectively and innovatively
overcome problems and teach them to be critical thinkers and good decision makers.

5. WIMS has identified its primary responsibility in the efforts to increase students'
employability through innovative teaching methodology combining industry
exposures and academia interactive practical programs.

6. Winning is the primary goal at WIMS and the means are inspiration, motivation and
sacrifice. The fundamentals of Indian culture and values are practiced to establish
happiness and success.

7. WIMS has sophisticated infrastructure, academic ambience, high standard of teaching


and strong corporate connectivity for excellent placement assistance, in addition to
Homely Hostel faculties. All these factors combined, provide the right environment
for the future global managers.

8. We at WIMS believe that, in a competitive job market, a candidate rarely secures a


job solely on the basis of his/her degree. Academic qualifications or technical skills
forms only a part of the bigger picture. One needs to prove to the potential employer
the skills developed and experiences gained that are sought for, in the candidates.
Keeping this in mind, our curriculum is regularly fine-tuned to match the issues the
management executives face on a day to day basis.

9. Our strength lies in imparting the required business skills to students in a collaborative
atmosphere. We maintain a world-class learning environment with a highly supportive
and flexible approach, through a process of combining classroom lectures,
presentations, guest lectures, seminars, workshops, group discussions, interactions,
internet interface and overseas business missions among other activities. These are
designed with great deal of deliberations between academia and the corporate.

To enable the students to gain confidence, WIMS conducts mock Interviews, role-
