    Auwal Mosque
    This is South Africas oldest mosque sicne it was established in 1798. The property was
    donated to honor Imam Abdullah Kadi Salaam in gratitude for his lessons in Islam. The
    Quran, which he wrote based from memory while he was still in prison could be seen here
    as well.

    2. Boulders Beach
    The Boulders Beach is considered the home of the citys biggest penguin colony. Inside a
    protective cove, visitors can experience swimming alongside with them. Penguins could be
    spotted roaming around or sunning themselves on the rocks.

    3. Cape of Good Hope Natural Reserve


    Various trails that youll find at the Cape of Good Hope Natural Reserve usually lead to
    shipwrecks, lighthouses or tidal pools. Inside, you might also spot some animals such as
    sugarbirds or zebra. Guests could also try out the Flying Dutchman funicular which would
    take them from the Cape Point to the upper lighthouse.

    4. Castle of Good Hope


    Known as South Africas oldest surviving colonial building, the Castle of Good Hope was
    built to ward off British attacks. The place still remains as Cape Towns military seat and
    houses a military museum that showcases different military items.

    5. Centre for the Book


    The Centre for the Book is built for book lovers or basically for anyone who would want to
    cultivate their passion to write and read quality materials. The place also serves as venues
    for writing workshops or press releases.

    6. Central Methodist Mission


    This Gothic revivalist church has spirea that could be likened to needles. While the outside
    of the church is noisy and busy, the atmosphere inside is quite serene and peaceful. The
    Central Methodist Mission Church is worth a visit and marvel the structures impressive
    architecture.

    7. Clock Tower Precinct


    This structure was initially built as a port captains office where he could see and check the
    arrivals and departure of ships from his mirrored bureau. The Clock Tower Precinct also
    houses the Chavonnes Ruins, one of South Africas oldest European structures.

    8. Drakenstein Lion Park


    The Drakenstein Lion Park is for animal and adventure lovers who would want to see real
    life lions. The park features captive-born lions who are roaming around the area where
    guests could see and observe them.
    9. Church Street Antiques Market
    The Church Street Antiques Market is a cobbled stretch of shops and stalls selling coins,
    plastic jewellery and porcelain items. This area also provides a variety of goods and items
    ranging from fashionable goods, antiques or artsy crafts.

    10. Bronze Age Art Sculpture House & Foundry


    While touring around this site, the slight smell of molten metal would immediately be
    noticeable. Inside this place, visitors would see sculptures ranging from commercialized
    ones up to impressive works done by famous artists like Claudette Schreuder.

    11. Boulders African Penguin Colony


    This place enables visitors to wander along the boardwalk leading to the penguins breeding
    ground. Here, you enjoy seeing them roam and waddle around, or swim into the waters.
