Black screen. Logos.
EXT. DARK ROOM
Screen bursts on, like an old TV switching on. A girl is sitting in the corner of the room, there is a
knife across the room. The girl begins to move and cries out in pain.
LACEY
-- What happened? -- (slowly getting up leaning against the wall)
(Moves hands from side to see them red)
-- What did you do to me? -- (voice rises in pitch, beginning to sound hysterical)
Camera cuts to a bloody knife on the floor. LACEY crawls over to the knife and turns it over in
her hands.
LACEY
--What happened? -- What did you make me do?--
(Stands up and shouts at the 'camera' on the wall)
--WHAT DID YOU MAKE ME DO?-- (Begins banging on the door)
EXT. OUTSIDE -- DAYTIME
Camera frames a door from outside. The banging on the door continues.
LACEY
-- What did you make me do?-- (voice becomes hysterical repeating the phrase)
Screen fades to black. The banging continues. Title appears and fade. Banging becomes distorted
and changes to someone speaking.
FRIEND #1
-- Lacey? - Lacey! --
EXT. OUTSIDE -- DAYTIME
Camera facing the sky. FRIEND #1 is leaning over, looking concerned. Text appears on screen '2
WEEKS EARLIER'. Soft music begins.
Screen cuts to LACEY sitting up, talking to FRIEND #1
FRIEND #1
-- What was that? --
LACEY
-- Just a bad dream, I guess--
FRIEND #1 smiles, unconvinced, but turns away.
Camera cuts to high shot. Text appears on screen 'An Asylum Productions film'.
Camera cuts to a medium shot of LACEY. Text appears 'Starring... Kiera Marston-Plumley'.
Camera pans around. Text appears under every character, with their name. Camera pans 360-
degrees. Music becomes harsher. Camera focuses over LACEY's shoulder, focusing on a hooded
figure in the background.
Screen turns black.
