1) Justine is working alone at night at a book and movie rental store when strange noises start happening. 2) When her boss Judie briefly leaves, Justine sees a cloaked figure stab and kill Judie in the parking lot. 3) The figure then breaks into the store and chases Justine through the aisles, stabbing and killing her.

The Frightened By Michael Edgar

FADE IN:
INT. Wildens Book, and Movie Rental Building - Cashier Night Dimmed Lights, and an almost empty room. There is a closed sign sitting up against the door. Justine Wallace, an ambitious, and nave teenage girl (16) sits alone at the cashier in the deserted store. She taps the counter nervously as she sits alone. Judie Walters (20) walks out from one of the tall towering bookshelves, and she walks over towards Justine. Judie: Hey Justine, Are you sure your okay with working the night shift alone? Justine: (Justine gives a shy smirk.) Yeah Im okay. I guess Judie: Its just such a creepy night tonight, and it just seems wrong to leave you here alone, Are you sure?

Justine: Well, actually no, Im pretty spooked, but youre my boss, and. Judie: Listen sweetie, Ill work the night shift with you, okay? Justine: Yeah, but? Judie: Listen, Its no problem, anyways I like your company. You remind me of someone. Justine: Who do I remind you of? Judie: My younger sister Annie, yeah I dont see her quite often though. Justine: Whys that? Judie: She was sent to a special camp to help her with her anorexia. Justine: Im so sorry, that must be so hard.

Judie: Its not your fault, anyways as long as shes getting help, right? Well anyways Im going to organize these movies, and stack them up on the shelves, Meanwhile Can you organize the newly packaged books, and stack them up on the shelves over in the back? Justine: (Smiles) Sure thing, boss. INT. Wildens Book, and Movie Rental Building- back -NIGHT CLICK - CLICK- CLICK The sound of Justines heals as she walked over towards the back of the store. She approached the maze of bookshelves, that were aligned in rows of multiple directions. She placed each book in a certain fashion, which was stacking them in alphabetical order. The room grew quiet, and a breeze of cold unpleasant air came upon Justine. Bam! Justine jumped as suddenly a sound almost like a crashing plate was heard amongst her ears. Justine:

(Nervously) Judie, Is that you? Justine ignores the sound, and continues aligning the books next to each other in alphabetical order. A running Judie runs down the hallway, towards Justine, who is at the back of the store. Judie: (catching her breath) Is everything okay?! I Heard a Crash! Justine: Everythings all right, I think something fell, but other than that, everythings good. Judie: Well when your done with the books, try to clean that up, okay? Well I left something in the car, Ill be right back, see in you in a about 10 minutes, okay? Justine: Okay, see you later. Judie makes her way over towards the exit of the store. Judie exits the store. EXT. Wildens Book, and Movie Rental Building - Parking Lot- Night.

Judie exited the store, and approached the parking lot. An eerie fog covered the parking lot. Her car is barely visible in the distance, and the night sky is pitch black. Judie: (humming the Beetles song Help) As I was younger, almost younger than today Judie reaches for her keys in her pockets, as she approaches the vehicle. She unlocks the car door, and enters the drivers seat. INT. Judies Car - Parking lot - Night Judie enters the car, and shuts the door. The windows are full of frost. The car is cold, and quiet. Judie reaches for the large sealed cardboard box labeled delicate. As Judie is about to exit, she sees what looks like a figure, creeping in the back, through her review mirror. Judie jumps, and then she takes another look at the review mirror, and there is nothing. Thinking it was her imagination, Judie forgets about the frightful image, and she grabs her box quickly leaving the car, shutting the door gently. CUTINT. Wildens Book, and Movie Rental Building - Cashier Night

Justine is walking over towards the cashier when she turns her attention over towards the empty display window. She observed the parking lot in confusion, as she noticed Judie walking with a box, in her hand, although her back doors were opened in the car. Justine walked closer towards the window to get a closer look. All of a sudden her eyes grew wide as a cloaked figure was creeping up behind Judie amongst the mist. A pale, scared, and shivering Justine stands frightened, as the figure walks closer to Judie. Judie stares blankly at Justine in confusion as shes confused at the way Justines reacting. Justine comes back to her senses. Justine: Behind you! Hes fucking behind you! Justine yells in terror. Judie: Wait, What? Judie turns around, but its too late. The figure lifts up his clean hunting knife, and Judie screams, right before the figure stabs her in the stomach, pulling the knife all the way down to the cervix, pealing her delicate skin. Justine: Nooooo!

Justine screams as she watches In horror. Judie falls onto the cold concrete floor. Her blood soaking onto the cold, empty streets. The figure examine the corpse, and then looks up through the window at Justin. Justine: You sick asshole! (She screams) Justine runs over towards the confusing maze of book shelves. BAM! The window shatters, Justine charges down the hallway, the cloaked figure on her tail. Justine races through the maze of book shelves, trying not to look behind her. She hears a clatter of footsteps from every direction. Justine charges over to a corner, when the figure comes up from another direction, and stabs her. Justine: AHHhhh! She Screams, falling to the floor. The figure watches as the poor girl lays on the floor hopeless. The figure kneels down on top of her, he raises his knife, and gets ready to stab her, when all of a sudden she kicks him in the balls. Figure:

(groans) The tries to crawl away, but the figure raises his knife once again, this time stabbing her knee. Justine: Ahh! Justine screams in pain, now unable to move. The figure walks up to the still, and frightened Justine, laying on the floor. He walks towards her body, and stands in front of it, placing his foot on her thigh. Justine is crying on the floor, she tries to scream though her throat is to warn out. Justine: I. dont. want to Justine stutters with her raspy tangled voice. The figure grunts in anger, and stabs her in the gut. CUT: [TITLE SCREEN]
