Tutorial 2 MI

This document contains a tutorial on moment of inertia with 14 problems. It begins with defining the theorem of perpendicular axis and parallel axis, and deriving the moment of inertia for basic shapes like rectangles, circles, and triangles. It then provides problems to calculate the moment of inertia of 'I', 'T', and 'Z' cross-sections, as well as hollow sections and composite areas, about various axes. Diagrams with the cross-sectional shapes and reference axes are provided. The purpose is to practice calculating moment of inertia, an important concept in strength of materials and mechanics.
