Condensate system
Start the demineralised water (DM) make up pump, if already
not running after checking DM tank level and line up connected
line.

Open both the isolating values for hot well make up

Maintenance hot well level more then of
the gauge.

Line up condensate system.

Inform electrical operator to restore power

After obtaining clearances form


condensate pump operator ,announce
through intercom that the pump is
being started.

Motor current should be within 18-23 amp

condenser tube leakage.
Take water to dearator after charging
LP heater from water side.

Condensate cycle is running healthy

operator to start, announce That pump
is being started.
Start the BFP

of pump

recirculation valves by more
than 2sec. There open the
valve remotely from UCB
otherwise trip the pump.

After 15 min. when the brg temp. gets


establish open the discharge valve.

Inform turbine operator to charge the HP


heater from feed side.

SYSTEM

Open C.W. valves at condenser inlet

Ensure that condenser CE outlet seal pit is

Start water box primary pump so as to
evaluate air in the condenser water box &
CW piping and establish initial vacuum in
water boxes so as to achieve designed
system
Start circulating water pumps establish
cooling water flow through the condensate
Place the condenser on load tube cleaning
system in service
