SENSEX ANALYSIS from Kotak Securities Ltd, Somajiguda, Hyderabad .


Objective:
To Analyses the performance of BSE and NASDAQ STOCKS. Know the risk
and return, Correlate the performance of BSE and NASDAQ. Identify the factors
influencing the indices. To know the influence of foreign mergers of Indian
industries on Indian stock exchanges. I had collected daily one year closings from
01-01-2007 to 31-12-2007 of BSE and NASDAQ Stock markets.
Findings:
The study suggested that is an overall positive as well as negative
correlation between BSE and NASDAQ. The study supports that mergers of top
Indian companies will have its effect on Indian as well as foreign stock markets
also.
Conclusion:
By seeing the closing of both the stocks markets we can say that increase
and movement of Funds is more in BSE than compared to NASDAQ.Because
foreign institutional investors are main investors in BSE.
