Ethical view of involvement of non-registered engineer
-
All graduates intending to work in Malaysia should first register with BEM
once they obtained their degree certificate.
It is a legal requirement and failure to do so may result in predicament in
future.
In case of Zain, once he obtained his degree, he needs to register directly
with BEM to avoid any tight schedule in future.
BEM only recognized the experience gained by engineering graduate only
after he has registered as a graduate engineer.
Taking account 5 years of engineering experience, Zain has wasted 5 years
worth experience. And should be within that period, he can be professional
engineer which carry title Ir.
