PROFILE
Product Design Graduate from Leeds Beckett
University (BA Hons 2:1). I have worked on various
self- directed and client-based projects, creating
physical prototypes at various stages of the design
process, working with anything from cardboard and
foam to metals, wood and plastics. Through my
studies I have also been able to further develop my
sketching, 3D CAD and presentation skills. I am
passionate about product design, eager to learn and
wish to pursue a career in this field.

WORK EXPERIENCE
-2012 2015: Bar tender and waiter at Springfield

Country House and the Black Bull Public House,


involved close team work in busy catering
environments
-2010 2012: Team Leader, counter assistant,
kitchen worker and waiter at Seniors fish restaurant,
involved working quickly and efficiently with orders,
food preparation and serving customers. As team
leader I was also responsible for ensuring shifts ran
smoothly to strict deadlines, staff training and for
resolving customer complaints and problems
-2010 2011: Volunteer Beaver Scout Young Leader
-Summer 2011: 6th form team project volunteering in
Nepal - involved teaching English through arts and
crafts at the Shubhakamana Academy in Katmandu
-June 2011: Photography Studio work experience
at Wildside Photography involved helping to set
up studio for photoshoots, passport and wedding
photography
-2009: Volunteer rugby coach at Baines School

SKILLS
Team work: A lot of the work on my course has
involved team work, dividing workload in order
to achieve goals. I have also worked in team
environments in my catering jobs and played team
sports both for school and Blackpool Junior RUFC.
Personal Skills: I have excellent organizational,
analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written
communication skills. I am also very outgoing,
creative and passionate about all aspects of design.
Time Management: Balancing part-time work with
studying has taught me how to manage my time
effectively, still having spare time for my hobbies.
I have also always managed to keep to hand-in
deadlines for my projects and assignments.
