The V8240 offers 40 GPON ports serving up to
1,280 residential or business subscribers (1:32
ratio split), or up to 240 Active Ethernet ports. The
V8240 is a 7 RU chassis with 14 slots for 10 service
modules, dual uplink modules, and dual 296Gbps
switch fabric modules to deliver a wide range of
high-performance FTTx applications.

platform that bridges the gap between existing

legacy and emerging service interfaces over both
copper and fiber, and is easily scalable to support
