15. In a building there are 50 cylindrical pillars. The radius of each pillar is 14cm and the height

of Rs 8 per metre square. (use = 22/7)
16. Prove the divisibility test of 9 by taking a general 3 digit number.
17. Arjun bought an air cooler for Rs. 16,200 including 8% VAT. Find the price before VAT was
added. Also find the new SP if the VAT added was 6%.
18. Find the value of m if 10m - 4 = 102 104 using a suitable identity.
19. Madhu deposited Rs. 5400 in a bank where the interest is compounded annually at the rate of
10% p.a . What interest will she get after 3 years?
20. In a stack there are 25 books each of thickness 40mm and 6 paper sheets each of thickness
0.015mm. Express the total thickness of the stack in scientific notation.

22. Mrs. Rita decided to distribute uniforms to the children of an orphanage. With the length of
cloth she bought she could make 180 uniforms each consuming 1.5m of cloth. How many
uniforms could be made from the same length of cloth if each consumed 2.5m of cloth?
What value of Mrs. Rita would you appreciate?
