Homework
Read two books to your child every night.

Pick one of the following activities to do each night. There are enough activities to do
Monday through Thursday with a few extras. Take 5-10 minutes for homework.

Talk to your child about their day.


Review the papers in the folder.
N- N N+ (just beginning to learn a skill, to ok)
S- S S+ (good to mastered skill)
Make your own play doh. We made peanut butter play dough Wednesday afternoon. It
was fun to follow the directions to see the final outcome. It was sticky and tasty, though
it did look a little strange. 5,6,7,8 b,t,r,y,g

Play Dough Recipe


4 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 cups water
4 tablespoons oil
1/2 cup cream of tartar

Mix all ingredients in a sauce pan. Cook and stir over low/medium heat until play dough is
completely formed and no longer sticky. Allow to cool slightly before storing in an air
tight container or zip lock bag.

Variations:

• Add one package of unsweetened powdered Kool-Aid to your play dough to give it a
great smell.

Listen to them read.

Play a game with your child.

Monday-No School

Tuesday-Full day all children attend, First day of Hot Lunch

Wednesday-

Thursday-Full day all children attend

Friday -Return the folder. Give the Mission Money Envelope to your child so they can give it in chapel.
