Simple Clean Installation & Startup Procedure

Existing Softener

YES

Install Simple Clean Upstream of softener

Is there adequate thermal expansion protection ?

NO

Clear the installation area & sweep the floor where the system will be installed

Connect to household plumbing according to code. Install system on the DOWNFLOW INLET port

Install Leak Controller & Drip Tray

Bypass Simple Clean and all downstream treatment equipment

Run bathtub cold to purge debris & flux from piping. Leave tub running (5 minutes)

Bring system online slowly and check for leaks, then return to tub & observe water

IS THERE GRANULAR CARBON IN THE WATER ?

NO

Run water until clear, then turn off tub (10 Minutes)

Bring downstream equipment online slowly, and check for leaks
