Industrial Bulk Material Feeders

Vibratory feeders are designed to satisfy the needs of many industries by installing under silos or hoppers to store and transfer bulk materials like minerals, ores, coal, metals, and aggregates. Direct driven feeders use two counter-rotating motors to cause vibration that spreads material evenly or feeds it between points, with the feed rate controlled by motor balance or variable speed drives. Direct drive units are simple and rugged machines that are low cost and easy to maintain compared to more complex sub-resonant designs.

Vibratory Feeders

Direct Drive
Vibroflow feeders are designed and built to satisfy the needs of many industries. The feeders can be installed under silos, hoppers or any other means of bulk materials storage. They can cope with heavy head loads or abusive batch feeds from cranes or front end loaders. Typical operations for feeders include spreading material evently across the trough or feeding material between points. Direct driven feeders are set in motion by two counter rotation, out-of-balance vibratory motors. The feed rate on the feeders can be varied by changing the balance settings on the vibratory motors or, if included, utilizing variable speed drives which can control the flow rate from zero to maximum. Direct drive units are simple, rugged machines which are practical due to their low cost and simplicity of maintenance. As opposed to sub-resonant designs which are more complex but offer greater energy efficiency and longer lifespans. Typical functions include feeding mineral sands, ores, coal, shredded metals, recycling materials, wood chips, rocks, gravel and sand.
