Tyra Gooduck Portfolio Tracker

This document appears to be a learning portfolio tracking sheet for a student taking an art class. It is divided into four units covering different topics: basic elements and principles of art, color theory, sculpture, and photography/printmaking. For each unit, it lists standards in four areas: observing and learning to comprehend, envisioning and critiquing to reflect, inventing and discovering to create, and relating and connecting to transfer skills. The student is expected to provide evidence showing their mastery of the standards, but the sheet is blank, indicating it is meant to be filled out over the course of the class.

The evidence I can show

that I can do this is
I know that value, texture,
contrast and highlights are
all elements and principles
of Art and Design. I also
learned that traditional art
isnt always something to
incorporate into our
artwork Art is about
expressing how you feel. I
used different materials
and objects to make my
own piece while still
incorporating some
traditional objects. My
pieces of artwork had its
own purpose. My artwork
shows what I like to do
and who I am.

When I reflect I annotate

in my sketchbook. My own
style is basically just
drawing. Not much color,
but when I use colors they
are usually bright. In this
class we have looked at
other artists and recorded
things theyve done to
make them a better artist.

When I would do my
artwork I would use all
sorts of different
materials. Materials such
as charcoal, paint,
markers, crayons, and
many more. I make art no
matter what material I
use. Any art piece I see I
automatically try to see
the meaning behind it. I
try and understand why
the artist used certain
colors and certain
materials.

Artwork from Leonardo Da

Vinci made artwork
different for the world
because the Mona Lisa
painting was different for
it had a smirk. Just a facial
expression changed the
world. The artwork that I
have made impacts me.
My artwork shows emotion
that I feel and it shows
how I view the world.
Whether I view the world
black and white or I view it
as different. I use art skills

out of school, not just

homework but to just get
my mind off of things.
These art skills that I have
learned help me
concentrate outside of the
school.
