7 Rays
Similarly to our
physical sun whose light
can be broken up into its
seven component colors,
the Solar Logos of our
system is a source of
seven great cosmic Rays
of spiritual light. These
Rays penetrate our
microcosm, building up
and enriching on of the
higher bodies of our
microcosm, our causal
body. To each of the
seven rays there can be
assigned various spiritual
and physical qualities.
The term "Ray" is used to
signify one special type
of force or energy. These
seven great streams of
energy together represent

each and every possible

vibration in nature, space
and form, and they
permeate all objects, all
beings and all events in
manifestation. They
interpenetrate each other
and combine themselves
in order to produce more
complex systems which
we refer to as "reality".
The seven Rays surpass
the possible description
by words, or even by
thoughts or feelings. They
are too essential and allencompassing to be
limited within our own
narrow inner space of
perception of the great
spectrum of reality. Still,
certain description of
these Rays is possible in
terms of the
corresponding qualities.
Certain qualities of the
Rays can be also
connected to the seven
chakras and to the
crystals and mineral
kingdom.
The Blue Ray is the
first Ray of light. The
energy of this Flame is
the first and final
synthesis, the source of
all the other energies. The
basic qualities of the Blue
Flame are manifested
through the energies of
power, strength, faith and
protection. Sunday is the
day when the irradiation
of this Ray is especially
dominant. Its most
prominent representative
is Archangel Michael.
The yellow Ray is the
second Ray of light. This
is a Ray ofconsciousness.
The energy of the yellow
flame qualifies and
teaches, enabling the
processes of synthesis,
love, wisdom,
enlightenment and peace.
Monday is the day when
this ray is especially
dominant. Archangel
Jophiel, the Angel of
enlightenment is the most
prominent representative
of the Yellow Ray and
yellow Flame.
From the third Ray of
the pink Flame we see the
manifestation of the
activities, intents, and
wisdom of the first two
rays: the first Blue Ray

and the second Yellow

Ray. This is a Ray of
Divine love, tolerance,
adoration, and gentleness.
Tuesday is the day when
the Pink Flame is
especially active, and
when its manifestation
reaches the highest
intensity. The most
prominent representative
of the Pink Ray is
Archangel Chamuel.
The fourth Ray of
white light (white flame),
stands in the middle of
the seven rays, and as
such it symbolizes a
central point, i.e., point of
balance and harmony.
The white Ray stimulates
the creativity, art, and
beauty. The white ray
exhibits the greatest
power of purification,
which is being manifested
through the ability of
ascending all spiritual
faculties of the
individual. Wednesday is
the day when the
outpouring of this ray is
at its maximum.
Archangel Gabriel is the
most prominent
representative from the
Angelic kingdom for the
white flame and white
Ray.
The green Ray of light
represents concretization,
crystallization of
substance, knowledge and
science. The green Flame
is the Flame of balance
and Truth. It leads to
analysis and development
of ideas, especially
Divine ideas and
impulses that have been
conceived in the First
Ray of the Blue Flame.
This is the Ray of
concentration, as a
manifestation of the
undisturbed sustained
attention, which is
attained by consecration.
In the green Flame we
recognize the seat of the
physical healing and
perfection. Thursday is
the day when the fifth
green Ray especially
strongly manifests its
energies. Archangel
Raphael, the Angel of
healing and consecration
is in charge of this Light
Ray.

The sixth golden ruby

Ray is a Ray of love,
devoted service, spiritual
healing and idealism. The
basic attribute of the sixth
golden-ruby Ray is the
quality of peace, reached
in the process of
understanding and
accepting the truth, and
only after attaining total
consecration and
dedication. Friday is the
day when this Ray
exhibits its stronger
outpouring. Archangel
Uriel, the Angel of Divine
service, is the most
prominent representative
of the ruby Flame.
The Violet Flame and
the seventh Ray of light
are the most tangible and
most expressive of all
seven light Rays and
Flames in the visible
world. The violet Ray
carries along the Divine
qualities of love, mercy,
compassion, spiritual
transfiguration and
transformation, and
freedom. Saturday is the
day of its strongest
expression. Archangel
Zadkiel, the Angel of
ceremony and invocation
of the Divine powers, is
the most prominent
representative of the
violet Flame from the
realm of Angelic beings.

Alchemy
Alchemy is the
transmutation of self and
life, concealed quite well
behind the allegorical veil
of gold-making. The
transformation of base
metals (such as lead, tin,
and copper) into gold is
symbolic of transforming
the individual into a
higher state of being-materially, spiritually, and
intellectually
The transmutation of
base metals into gold is
symbolic of the
transformation of the
baser elements of
character into pure
gold. Thus, hatred is
changed into love;
ignorance into
knowledge; laziness into
laboriousness; poverty

into wealth; failure into

success.
In philosophical
alchemy, the seven
ancient planets play an
important role, which
might be expected in such
a system, which is based
in the Western Mystery
Tradition. These seven
planets are not really
planets at all by our
modern understanding.
These are the Sun, Moon,
Jupiter, Mars, Saturn,
Mercury, and Venus. It is
by these seven forces that
the personality of Man is
composed, according to
the doctrine.
The Sun embodies both
the spirit and the intellect.
The Moon encompasses
our subconscious,
intuition, and emotions.
Venus is representative of
our sexual desires and
relationships. Jupiter is
our attraction to success
and dominion, as
Zeus or Jupiter is King
of the Gods. Mars is the
sphere of our aggression.
Saturn is the
contemplative and
purging of the self.
Seven metals
symbolize these planets,
in alchemy. In fact, in
medieval alchemical
manuscripts, they often
did not say iron when
referring to the metal;
instead the text read
Mars. One cannot even
read these texts with any
hope of understanding
them if this
correspondence is not
thoroughly understood.
Venus signifies copper
or brass; Mars is iron;
Jupiter is tin; the Moon is
silver. Mercury is
quicksilver (an old name
for the chemical mercury)
; Saturn is lead; the Sun is
gold. Therefore,
transmuting the base
metals into gold is to
transfigure the other
planetary natures by the
illuminating rays of the
Sun. This alchemical
association of the planets
with metals also
influences magick. For
example, talismans
connected to Jupiter are
often made of tin and

covered with symbols

associated with this
planet.

All seeing eye

The Eye of Providence,
or the all-seeing eye of
God, is a symbol showing
an eye often surrounded
by rays of light or a glory
and usually enclosed by a
triangle. It is sometimes
interpreted as
representing the eye of
God watching over
humankind. It is found in
many eras and cultures. It
is generally a symbol of
the watchful and
protective power of the
Supreme Being,
especially when that
entity is considered in a
solar or heavenly context.

Ancestors
We all honor our
Ancestors differently, and
we all have a unique
relationship with them.
Offerings to ones dead
should be that in which is
a part of the culture you
was raised in, or cultural
food from their birth
lands. It is always
important to purchase a
brand new white plate,
utensils, new coffee cup
and a clear glass used as
vessels for offerings only
for ones dead, and should
be only used for this
purpouse.
Prayer to the
Ancestors
O BLOOD OF MY
BLOOD. I AM YOUR
CHILD. AND I COME
BEFORE YOU
BRINGING
OFFERINGS OF FOOD,
LIQUOR, TOBACCO
AND WATER. MAY IT
BE A NOURISHMENT
FOR YOUR SOUL.
KNOW THAT YOU ARE
GREATLY LOVED,
REMEMBERED AND
RESPECTED. ACCEPT
THIS HUMBLE
OFFERING FOR THE
GREATER GOOD OF
YOUR FAMILY WHO IS
ALIVE.

WATCH OVER YOUR

DESCENDANTS, FOR
WITHOUT YOUR
WATCHFUL EYES AND
GUIDANCE WE ARE
AS LOST SHEEPS
AMONGST WOLVES.
KEEP AWAY FROM US,
ILLNESSES,
ACCIDENTS,
UPHEAVAL, POVERTY,
ILL FATE, SORROW,
UNTIMELY DEATHS,
AND ALL FORMS OF
UNJUST ACTS UPON
OUR FAMILY.
STAND STRONG AND
FAST FOR US. FOR
OUR GOOD FORTUNE.
OUR HEALTH. OUR
HAPPINESS. OUR
HOMES. AND MOST
ABOVE ALL, OUR
IMMEDIATE
FAMILIES. THANK
YOU, BLOOD OF MY
BLOOD. IN THE
NAME OF THE
FATHER, SON AND
HOLY GHOST. AMEN.
Do not go before your
Ancestors or dead with a
heavy heart, with anger or
frustration. Always
present yourself calm and
cool. Listen to them.
They speak to you
through the voice of your
subconscious mind. They
will often come to you in
your dreams.If you have
an altar to them, treat it
with great respect, clean
and clutter free. Keep
your ancestral shrine
apart from those of your
saints.
Like all Spirits they
stay around until the
memory of them is
completely forgotten.
Some reincarnate or are
reborn within the family
lineage others elevate into
a higher spiritual
consciousness. The
Ancestors stay around
until our memory of them
is forgotten, they come
because of our prayers
and energy. Some Spirits
also become highly
elevated Spirits even
while the memory of their
deeds is fresh within our

minds. A Spirit can only

be close to the material
plane as long as humans
give it energy. Other
spirits are earth bound,
attached to the material
plane, and this is a
subject I will cover
shortly.

Angels
Some people on earth,
especially children, are
able to hear their voices.
This sound gives them
indescribable pleasure.

Every angel chants and

praises in a different
language without clash or
disharmony. All are
pleading to God for
mercy for human beings
and asking Him to elevate
the state of people so that
they can hear and see
these daily ceremonies.
To reward the angels for
their praise, for the
sincerity of their
intercession, and to show
them the great extent of
His mercy, God at every
moment showers His
mercy on human beings.
The function of Angels
is to provide us with our
spiritual and emotional
needs. Basically
speaking, they take care
of us. Angels work
primarily on the
emotional plane, but once
we're open to them, we
can feel their presence
around us all the time.

Angels Of The Seasons

Each season of the year
and every month has its
own special angel. These
angels help us learn from
nature the particular
lessons and insights that
every season
imparts.
The Angel of January teaches us to look within,
to take stock of ourselves
and our lives. The
January angel keeps us
company as we ponder
over those long, cold
winter nights, helping us
to be honest with
ourselves and patient at
the same time. Conveying
the wisdom of an elder,
the January angel takes
our hand as we seek to
glean understanding from
our lessons of the past
year. With this support,
we can give ourselves
both recognition and
admonition and
admonition in their turn.
With this help, we can
chart a new course or
alter our present one. We
seek and receive the
companionship of the
January angel to warm us
through the winter of our
introspection.
The Angel of February is the angel of patience.
During the dark, blustery
nights of February, when
nature is in a deep chill
and we long for a sign of
warmth and life, this
angel can help us lern to
await with grace the first
signs of spring.
February's angel teaches
us that winter has its own
special peace, that being

snowbound or staying
indoors can give us a
welcome reprise from the
busyness of life. In
February, we can
complete unfinished
projects and prepare for
new initiatives in the
spring. The angel of
February brings us the
gift of patience, helping
us to enjoy the solitude
and quiet of the winter,
guiding us to replenish
our energy for the warm,
busy days to come.
The Angel of March brings us stamina and
courage. As winter ends,
we take heart from the
crocuses that push their
way up through the snow.
The Angel of March
cheers us on through life's
frozen moments, boosting
our morale and helping us
achieve new landmarks.
With the angel's help, we
dare to break through
whatever barrier, whether
personal belief or lack of
self-confidence, that
holds us back. We gather
the will to launch a
lifelong dream or begin
the project we have
envisioned but never
dared to tackle. As the
sun begins to warm our
spirits, the March angel
rejoices with us at the
first signs of spring and
lends us courage to
prepare for a new and
daunting, but also
fulfilling, task.
The Angel of April - is
the spirit of rebirth. As
the days grow longer and
the sun begins to warm
us, April is a time for new
life and new beginnings.
April's angel spurs us to
test ourselves in new
directions and to make
ourselves vulnerable in
the face of unfamiliar
people and places.
Encouraged by the April
angel, we search for
novel endeavors that will
enrich our lives and bring
new meaning to our
career or family roles.
The April angel teaches
us to delight in each sign
of awakening, in nature
and in ourselves.

The Angel of May brings the blush and

promise of spring. May's
angel rejoices with us as
we take heart at the sight
of trees ad shrubs in
bloom and relish our
anticipation of the fruits
to come. This angel of
spring reminds us that
this is a time of
awakening the seed
within ourselves. Perhaps
we have a deep longing,
an artistic talent never
explored or a friendship
never quite attempted.
This angel of May will
help us discover this
potential, nurturing our
spirits as we can dare to
fulfill this hidden promise
and bring forth the fruit
of a life fully lived.
The Angel of June - helps
us flourish and grow
strong. June's angel
teaches us to sustain our
enthusiasm for the new
projects and directions we
started in the spring. In
this glorious time of
sunshine and growth, we
learn to seek out the
warmth of friendships
and family ties, to help
nurture the seeds we
planted and become all
that we were meant to be.
The angel of June urges
us to be steadfast in our
intentions, to renew our
dedication, and to stay on
course.
The Angel of July brings a season of leisure,
a time to play and
replenish our energy. The
projects we began in the
spring should be well
underway and growing
stronger on their own.
July's angel urges us to
take the time, now, to step
back and observe what
we have planted. The July
angel encourages us to
tend the garden of our
life, to care for what we
have started, and to be
objective enough to weed
out the unhealthy or
unproductive elements.
This angel of summer
reminds us to nurture the
people and things that

bring us happiness, so we
can product for ourselves
a crop of joy and
fulfillment.
The Angel of August - is
the angel of perseverance.
The new directions we
began in the spring may
have become difficult to
sustain. Like a garden
that needs constant
watering and weeding in
the scorching August sun,
our projects and dreams
require stamina and
determination to bring
them to fruition. The
angel of August helps us
with unflagging energy to
tend the garden we have
planted. When the hot
summer sun and the work
of our lives demand too
much of us, the August
angel brings us the
fortitude to cleave to our
tasks through completion.
The Angel of September helps us prepare for the
harvest at hand. As the
summer draws to a close,
September's angel
reminds us to pause and
gather fresh strength
because the culmination
of a project often
demands one last surge of
energy. The September
angel brings us this boost,
seeing us through to the
fulfillment of our task.
This late-summer angel
also helps us recognize
the fruits of our labors
and share with others the
bounty of what we have
created in our lives. In
September, we take
delight in our good
fortune, whether in a
garden, a relationship, or
a career, and we share our
joy with all those whose
support has made our
harvest possible.
The Angel of October rejoices as we reap the
harvest of what we have
sown in life. October is a
good time to step back
from our projects and our
dreams and to take a hard
look at what we have
actually accomplished.
The October angel helps
us to be honest and

objective about what is

good and what is not.
With this help, we can
face clearly the
consequences of our
choices over these past
seasons. We will taste our
harvest and reject what is
bitter or unripe; we will
make note of what
worked and what did not,
and we will change for
the better. October's angel
teaches us that the
greatest fruit of our
personal harvest is
understanding ourselves.
The Angel of November is the angel of humility.
This autumn angel brings
a special gift that helps
deepen the meaning of
the Thanksgiving season
for ourselves and our
loved ones. November's
angel urges us to
acknowledge and
appreciate the supporting
roles others have played
in our lives this year and
even thank those who
have taught us difficult
lessons. The angel of
November leads us to
give thanks in a new way
by forgiving old hurts and
healing broken
relationships. Thus we
help one another to be
truly grateful for our
relationships and the
richness they bring to our
lives.
The Angel of December is the angel of generosity.
The December angel
celebrates with us this
time of giving gifts to all
the wild creatures and to
all of God's children. The
angel of December leads
us to join hands with
people of all races and
religions, recognizing that
we are children of the
same creator, and we all
share the responsibility of
bringing joy and health
upon the earth. Inspired
by December's angel, we
can celebrate this season
of brotherhood by doing
one act of kindness every
day of December ~ going
out of our way to
bring warmth and light
into another's life.

Anima Sola
The most popular
image of an Anima Sola
depicts a woman in a
dungeon set into flames
as she looks up towards
the heavens. Her chains
are broken and she looks
at peace, as if the flames
consuming her soul do
not bother her. She
patiently awaits the
saviors forgiveness of her
sins, as her arms are
stretched upwards as
if the savior has sent the
Queen of Angels to set
her free from her torment.
The infamous famous
image of the Anima Sola
is of Maria Celestina
Abdenago.
Many who don't know
much of the Anima Sola
assume that there is only
one, when in reality there
are countless souls in the
"Catholic' purgatory or
lower spiritual plane,
cleansing there sinful
souls before being
forgiven and reaching a
higher spiritual plane.
The Anima Sola or
Lonely Souls of
Purgatory are not evil
spirits, as their souls are
not damned in Hades or
Hell, they are the souls of
sinners who because of
their mortal sins cannot
reach the Kingdom of
Heaven until there souls
have been purified from
their earthly wrong
doings. Many people in
Latin American counties
pray to the Anima Sola
and they are often
invoked in love spells. On
Mondays they are offered
water, a white candle to
give them light and many
offer them cigars,
cigarettes and strong
liquor such as rum,
whiskey or a can of beer.
The Anima Sola are
venerated on el Dia de las
Animas, November 2nd
the day of All Souls Day,
as special Masses are
done in honor of them. In
Mexico this day is called,
El Dia de los Muertos, or
Day of the Dead.
These spirits should be
respected and prayers

should be said to them so

that their sins are forgiven
and so that their souls
become purified and they
may be able to move
higher in the spiritual
evolution chain.

Annapurna
Goddess Annapurna is the
Hindu Goddess of food
and nourishment and is
considered
as the sustainer of
prosperity. In Sanskrit
Language the word
Anna means food
and grains and Purna
means full or complete. It
is believed that by
worshipping this goddess
one will never be out of
food anytime in life. Mata
Sri Annapurneshwari
Devi is the Goddess for
the fourth day of Durga
Navrathri. She is a form
of the Goddess Parvati,
the consort of Lord Shiva
and resides atop of
MountAnnapurna. She is
depicted with a jeweled
vessel containing food in
one hand and a spoon in
the other to distribute the
food to her devotees.
Lord Shiva is normally
depicted as begging for
food to her with his skull
begging bowl. Goddess
Annapoorna is the
Supreme Goddess of the
city of Kasi (now known
as Varanasi), the city
where moksha (freedom
from the cycle of birth
and rebirth) could be
attained. The Sri
Annapurna Ashtakam
composed by
Shankaracharya is
devoted to this goddess of
Hindu religion.

Annapurna is the
Hindu goddess of food
and cooking. Annapurna
is empowered with the
ability to supply food to
an unlimited amount of
people.Annapurna is an
incarnation of the other
Hindu goddess Parvati,
the wife of Shiva. She
symbolizes the divine
aspect of nourishing care.
It is believed that when
food is cooked with the
spirit of holiness it
becomes alchemy.
Images of goddess
Annapurna are placed in
dinnertables,restaurants,k
itchens etc. where the
food is prepared and is
served only after getting
the blessings of this
goddess. By doing this
way people believe that
they will never be out of
food anytime in their life.
The goddess Annapurna
blesses the food and
converts it to Amruta (A
Sanskrit word for
delicious and healthy
food which gives
immortality) which when
eaten provides the
nourishment required for
our body.
Annapurna has no
weapons in her handsrather, she has a cooking
pot full of "anna" (food)
and a big "spoon" or ladle
in her hands.It is believed
that by worshipping this
goddess one will never be
out of food anytime in
life. She is depicted with
a jeweled vessel
containing food in one
hand and a spoon in
the other to distribute the
food to her devotees.

Annapurna promises
food to those who come
to her. Statues or idols of
this goddess are always
depicted with a small
bowl of food, ensuring a
lifetime of food to her
worshipers. She is also
known as "Mother of the
Three Worlds".
Annapurna is like a
mother goddess because
she provides nourishment
as a mother does. She
gives food freely and
continuously to her
followers. The worship of
Annapurna originated in
the distant past when all
food disappeared from
the earth and all living
beings were consequently
in danger of perishing. In
Hindu parlance it is
generally told that food
should not be wasted as
Goddess Annapurna
would be angry. She is
considered as the
upholder of richness.
