7 Rays
Similarly to our
physical sun whose light
can be broken up into its
seven component colors,
the Solar Logos of our
system is a source of
seven great cosmic Rays
of spiritual light. These
Rays penetrate our
microcosm, building up
and enriching on of the
higher bodies of our
microcosm, our causal
body. To each of the
seven rays there can be
assigned various spiritual
and physical qualities.
The term "Ray" is used to
signify one special type
of force or energy. These
seven great streams of
energy together represent
Alchemy
Alchemy is the
transmutation of self and
life, concealed quite well
behind the allegorical veil
of gold-making. The
transformation of base
metals (such as lead, tin,
and copper) into gold is
symbolic of transforming
the individual into a
higher state of being-materially, spiritually, and
intellectually
The transmutation of
base metals into gold is
symbolic of the
transformation of the
baser elements of
character into pure
gold. Thus, hatred is
changed into love;
ignorance into
knowledge; laziness into
laboriousness; poverty
Ancestors
We all honor our
Ancestors differently, and
we all have a unique
relationship with them.
Offerings to ones dead
should be that in which is
a part of the culture you
was raised in, or cultural
food from their birth
lands. It is always
important to purchase a
brand new white plate,
utensils, new coffee cup
and a clear glass used as
vessels for offerings only
for ones dead, and should
be only used for this
purpouse.
Prayer to the
Ancestors
O BLOOD OF MY
BLOOD. I AM YOUR
CHILD. AND I COME
BEFORE YOU
BRINGING
OFFERINGS OF FOOD,
LIQUOR, TOBACCO
AND WATER. MAY IT
BE A NOURISHMENT
FOR YOUR SOUL.
KNOW THAT YOU ARE
GREATLY LOVED,
REMEMBERED AND
RESPECTED. ACCEPT
THIS HUMBLE
OFFERING FOR THE
GREATER GOOD OF
YOUR FAMILY WHO IS
ALIVE.

snowbound or staying
indoors can give us a
welcome reprise from the
busyness of life. In
February, we can
complete unfinished
projects and prepare for
new initiatives in the
spring. The angel of
February brings us the
gift of patience, helping
us to enjoy the solitude
and quiet of the winter,
guiding us to replenish
our energy for the warm,
busy days to come.
The Angel of March brings us stamina and
courage. As winter ends,
we take heart from the
crocuses that push their
way up through the snow.
The Angel of March
cheers us on through life's
frozen moments, boosting
our morale and helping us
achieve new landmarks.
With the angel's help, we
dare to break through
whatever barrier, whether
personal belief or lack of
self-confidence, that
holds us back. We gather
the will to launch a
lifelong dream or begin
the project we have
envisioned but never
dared to tackle. As the
sun begins to warm our
spirits, the March angel
rejoices with us at the
first signs of spring and
lends us courage to
prepare for a new and
daunting, but also
fulfilling, task.
The Angel of April - is
the spirit of rebirth. As
the days grow longer and
the sun begins to warm
us, April is a time for new
life and new beginnings.
April's angel spurs us to
test ourselves in new
directions and to make
ourselves vulnerable in
the face of unfamiliar
people and places.
Encouraged by the April
angel, we search for
novel endeavors that will
enrich our lives and bring
new meaning to our
career or family roles.
The April angel teaches
us to delight in each sign
of awakening, in nature
and in ourselves.
bring us happiness, so we
can product for ourselves
a crop of joy and
fulfillment.
The Angel of August - is
the angel of perseverance.
The new directions we
began in the spring may
have become difficult to
sustain. Like a garden
that needs constant
watering and weeding in
the scorching August sun,
our projects and dreams
require stamina and
determination to bring
them to fruition. The
angel of August helps us
with unflagging energy to
tend the garden we have
planted. When the hot
summer sun and the work
of our lives demand too
much of us, the August
angel brings us the
fortitude to cleave to our
tasks through completion.
The Angel of September helps us prepare for the
harvest at hand. As the
summer draws to a close,
September's angel
reminds us to pause and
gather fresh strength
because the culmination
of a project often
demands one last surge of
energy. The September
angel brings us this boost,
seeing us through to the
fulfillment of our task.
This late-summer angel
also helps us recognize
the fruits of our labors
and share with others the
bounty of what we have
created in our lives. In
September, we take
delight in our good
fortune, whether in a
garden, a relationship, or
a career, and we share our
joy with all those whose
support has made our
harvest possible.
The Angel of October rejoices as we reap the
harvest of what we have
sown in life. October is a
good time to step back
from our projects and our
dreams and to take a hard
look at what we have
actually accomplished.
The October angel helps
us to be honest and
Anima Sola
The most popular
image of an Anima Sola
depicts a woman in a
dungeon set into flames
as she looks up towards
the heavens. Her chains
are broken and she looks
at peace, as if the flames
consuming her soul do
not bother her. She
patiently awaits the
saviors forgiveness of her
sins, as her arms are
stretched upwards as
if the savior has sent the
Queen of Angels to set
her free from her torment.
The infamous famous
image of the Anima Sola
is of Maria Celestina
Abdenago.
Many who don't know
much of the Anima Sola
assume that there is only
one, when in reality there
are countless souls in the
"Catholic' purgatory or
lower spiritual plane,
cleansing there sinful
souls before being
forgiven and reaching a
higher spiritual plane.
The Anima Sola or
Lonely Souls of
Purgatory are not evil
spirits, as their souls are
not damned in Hades or
Hell, they are the souls of
sinners who because of
their mortal sins cannot
reach the Kingdom of
Heaven until there souls
have been purified from
their earthly wrong
doings. Many people in
Latin American counties
pray to the Anima Sola
and they are often
invoked in love spells. On
Mondays they are offered
water, a white candle to
give them light and many
offer them cigars,
cigarettes and strong
liquor such as rum,
whiskey or a can of beer.
The Anima Sola are
venerated on el Dia de las
Animas, November 2nd
the day of All Souls Day,
as special Masses are
done in honor of them. In
Mexico this day is called,
El Dia de los Muertos, or
Day of the Dead.
These spirits should be
respected and prayers
Annapurna
Goddess Annapurna is the
Hindu Goddess of food
and nourishment and is
considered
as the sustainer of
prosperity. In Sanskrit
Language the word
Anna means food
and grains and Purna
means full or complete. It
is believed that by
worshipping this goddess
one will never be out of
food anytime in life. Mata
Sri Annapurneshwari
Devi is the Goddess for
the fourth day of Durga
Navrathri. She is a form
of the Goddess Parvati,
the consort of Lord Shiva
and resides atop of
MountAnnapurna. She is
depicted with a jeweled
vessel containing food in
one hand and a spoon in
the other to distribute the
food to her devotees.
Lord Shiva is normally
depicted as begging for
food to her with his skull
begging bowl. Goddess
Annapoorna is the
Supreme Goddess of the
city of Kasi (now known
as Varanasi), the city
where moksha (freedom
from the cycle of birth
and rebirth) could be
attained. The Sri
Annapurna Ashtakam
composed by
Shankaracharya is
devoted to this goddess of
Hindu religion.

Annapurna is the
Hindu goddess of food
and cooking. Annapurna
is empowered with the
ability to supply food to
an unlimited amount of
people.Annapurna is an
incarnation of the other
Hindu goddess Parvati,
the wife of Shiva. She
symbolizes the divine
aspect of nourishing care.
It is believed that when
food is cooked with the
spirit of holiness it
becomes alchemy.
Images of goddess
Annapurna are placed in
dinnertables,restaurants,k
itchens etc. where the
food is prepared and is
served only after getting
the blessings of this
goddess. By doing this
way people believe that
they will never be out of
food anytime in their life.
The goddess Annapurna
blesses the food and
converts it to Amruta (A
Sanskrit word for
delicious and healthy
food which gives
immortality) which when
eaten provides the
nourishment required for
our body.
Annapurna has no
weapons in her handsrather, she has a cooking
pot full of "anna" (food)
and a big "spoon" or ladle
in her hands.It is believed
that by worshipping this
goddess one will never be
out of food anytime in
life. She is depicted with
a jeweled vessel
containing food in one
hand and a spoon in
the other to distribute the
food to her devotees.
Annapurna promises
food to those who come
to her. Statues or idols of
this goddess are always
depicted with a small
bowl of food, ensuring a
lifetime of food to her
worshipers. She is also
known as "Mother of the
Three Worlds".
Annapurna is like a
mother goddess because
she provides nourishment
as a mother does. She
gives food freely and
continuously to her
followers. The worship of
Annapurna originated in
the distant past when all
food disappeared from
the earth and all living
beings were consequently
in danger of perishing. In
Hindu parlance it is
generally told that food
should not be wasted as
Goddess Annapurna
would be angry. She is
considered as the
upholder of richness.
