How to create EDS file via EDSBuilder software

Hardware setup:

Pin definition of IFD6500:

Pin definition of RS-485 of VFD-EL:

Software setup:

Executing the EDSBuilder:

Opening the new EDS file:

Switching to DeviceNet mode to create the EDS file and choosing the extension module of CME-DN01 as well

Choosing VFD-EL as the device of EDS file and selecting the right COM port, then let the software takes care of
the remaining connection

Pressing the button of Auto test and you will see whether the connection is fail or not at the below window

Pressing the button of load, then the EDS file has been creating through the process.

The left side widow will be showing the content of EDS file

Saving the EDS file into your preference data folder
