Light: Learning Objectives

The document provides learning objectives and keywords to understand the differences between reflection, diffraction, and dispersion of light. It includes diagrams labeling light rays, a prism, and a screen to demonstrate how reflection and refraction cause us to see objects. Key terms are defined and materials are classified as transparent, translucent, or opaque depending on how they interact with light.

How do we see things? Luminous Objects give off their own light. We can see them because the light travels to our eyes. Non luminous objects do not give off their own light. We can see them because light is reflected off them and into our eyes.
