Eric Enge is President of Pilot Holding Previously Eric was the founder and CEO of Stone Temple, also an award-winning digital marketing agency, which was acquired by Perficient in July 2018, where he also worked for three years.

He is the lead co-author of The Art of SEO, a 700+ page book that's known in the industry as "the bible of SEO," with the 4th having published in September 2023. Enge has founded, built and sold four different companies that had SEO as a primary focus. In 2018, Enge was named Search Personality of the Year by the Drum Search Awards, and in 2016, Enge was awarded Search Engine Land's Landy Award for Search Marketer of the Year, and US Search Awards Search Personality of the Year. He is a prolific writer, researcher, teacher and a sought-after keynote speaker and panelist at major industry conferences.

His passion for teaching is evidenced through custom training modules that he designs and delivers to executives, laymen and highly technical SEO professionals. In his free time, Eric enjoys woodworking and drinking wine (but not at the same time).
