Our Singapore team focuses on cross-border project development, finance and M&A transactions – helping clients lead the energy transition across South and Southeast Asia. It is part of a world-class Orrick energy & infrastructure platform that ranks top 3 globally for both renewables and power purchase agreements (Inspiratia, 2023).

The team includes two Chambers Band 1 projects & energy advisors and lawyers qualified in Singapore, Indonesia, India, Australia, England and Wales and the United States.

Our strengths include:

Working on the market’s most significant renewables transactions, including solar, floating solar, geothermal, offshore and onshore wind and hydro projects, as well as conventional power, infrastructure, mining and LNG transactions.
Pioneering the first corporate renewable PPAs, including to support data centers, across Singapore, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Helping to develop the Indonesia market, where we advise leading sponsors and lenders, including Indonesia’s state-owned energy company; top-tier sponsors from Japan, Korea and the Middle East; and key regional multilateral lenders and export-credit agencies.
Extensive experience advising international developers, sponsors and financial institutions on India inbound transactions as well as outbound transactions by India-based companies into Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States.
